I found this Speculaas recipe - is this similar ? Poor Xiao-Xiao got in a fight today - another cat attacked her on her balcony. She doesn`t seem injured and is happy to be picked up ; hopefully she doesn`t have any scratches which could turn into another abscess.

Ooh, will you put the recipe on here ? Are the Dutch choc biscuits similar to these ones ?

*I think * I`ve only got one of the books - Sword Song - and the rest are the Arthur books. I`ll see how I feel about getting the books after I`ve seen the show.

Nooooo ! How will you cope with all the plaintive squeaking ! How overweight is she ? I think Xiao-Xiao`s lost a bit of weight since switching to mostly Felix sachets, with 7 or 8 crunchies as an appetiser.

I had to look up Sinterklaas - it rings a bell now, `cos of the controversy. I like the cocoa and cookies bit ! Xiao-Xiao had an early Xmas last night - I was opening a plastic baggie ot crunchies for her and they ripped open and spilled all over the kitchen floor - she `helped` me with the clean-up ( at one point, she was ankle deep in crunchies going num-num-num ).

The Christmas decorations are up in town. Good grief.

Really looking forward to next week`s eps - it`s been ages since I`ve enjoyed anything as much as these shows. Thanks for the heads up again.
