Ooh, ooh, I`m all excited - the final part of the All Souls` Trilogy by Deborah Harkness is out next July - whee !
I do hope the third and final book is as good as the first one, I really didn't enjoy the second one that much.
-
Hmm, do you know if any of us have read it?
-
Ok, it doesn't sound contemporary so maybe last century? More than 20/30 years?
-
I can't remember to be honest KM, probably a week or 10 days but time very well spent as is my favourite book of all time.
-
You're very welcome frankie, I hope you enjoy Human Traces as much as I did, I think you might with your interest in psychology, but if you only enjoy it half as much as I did you will think it very good indeed!
-
Is it biographical?
-
It was . . . different.
Dracula in 19th century London posing as an American businessman didn't really work for me but I'll give it a few more eps
Is it maybe more one for the ladies?
-
Dracula 1x01. Oh dear . . .
Was it not good? I have it on record..
-
Good morning and welcome Sonia.
-
Starting Titus Groan..
-
It's not ringing any bells, is it a contemporary book?
-
Is it a biography? Maybe Augustin Burroughs as I know he is a favourite of yours and Kay's? Stab in the dark though!
-
Think hes the only male classic author I know.. Except Shakespeare.. Is he classics, or just ancient?!
-
Hi Tonya! Do you have any pets?
-
Thomas Hardy?
-
Sounds more romantic than JV?
-
It was good Steve, best not to take them too seriously but I loved the humour elements too. Christopher Ecclestone was great as Malachi (baddie), his voice was perfect for the part.
-
Thor! Took my three kids and we all enjoyed it.. Love Loki!
-
Hmm, classics not my speciality.. hopefully someone else will be along soon.
-
Doesn't sound familiar? Appears to be classic though.. ?
-
Thanks Claire, I've just checked and I have both set up to be on the safe side! Steve has been home for 2 weeks so have a rather full planner of all my favourite shows!
-
Yes it is!

Pretty sure it's not Enid Blyton as there is no mention of ginger beer! Far too grown up too.
