Paula, that gift? I want!!!! How cool and how lucky you are! Seriously, I'm jealous . I just got home so haven't caught any of the carpet stuff. I hate watching live stuff though because it's just so slow on my DSL connection. I'll have to catch clips tomorrow on my fast work computer . I was pleasantly surprised when I got home though, you guys, because Taycob and Robward are on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week! I had no idea. Apparently EW thinks it's the 'best Twilight movie so far.'

I'm super excited! But also annoyed that I have to keep my comments to myself and can't share my thoughts with you lovely folks until 4 more days after I see it! Summit pulled a lame one that's for sure .

I must admit I've never read anything from the Crusades time period, Clare, so I may be looking for recommendations from you! I do however enjoy reading Iain Pears, Tracy Chevalier and Matthew Pearl. One of my favorites from Pearl 'The Dante Club,' is set in post-Civil War Boston/Cambridge.

I have the end of The World to Come in sight! Thankfully... This has turned into a pretty bizarre book so I'm glad to see it come to a close . I definitely need something light after this one!

We're headed out to dinner tonight to a local Afghani place. One of my friends who works in my building is moving to another building so this is our last dinner for awhile. My own dept is moving there next month but hey, since when do we need a real excuse to eat out?!
