Stephanie, I'm not sure how you're holding up, not having seen NM yet! I hope you get to go soon
.
I saw it again this afternoon
and saw a trailer for a really lame looking film called 'Transylmania'
. Also sat through another 'Lovely Bones' trailer and one really hilarious looking one with Michael Cera called 'Youth in Revolt' which I would like to see.

Woo-hoo, Noll! Glad you own them now, and you can't pass up something that cheap
.
I read one very short chapter of Lost Symbol this morning (
they're all short!) and then was preoccupied all day with movings and movies, so hopefully I'll get more in tonight before bed.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Great film
Excellent, Suzanne, good choice! One of my all time faves
.

Hey there and welcome to BCF, MorningGlory!
-
I think everyone was too excited beforehand to get a photo taken, Weave (at least I was) and by 2:30am when it was over we just wanted to get out of there!
I'm glad you weren't the oldest person there
. I kept looking for older people so I wouldn't feel so silly sitting in a see of tweens. I think I saw two, LOL.
-
Oooh I wish I could come to that BCF movie outing! How fun would that be to see it with you guys
.
Glad you loved the movie, Nici and Scarlette! Any fave scenes or stuff that was missing that you wished had been left in?
I agree with you about the score, Chesil. Loved Desplat's compositions, plus the other songs/artists. I think there were an equal number of Team members in the audience of the midnight showing I went to, and lucikly there were no Jacob fans in my general vicinity. I just have absolutely no eyes for that kid, shirt or no. I guess I can understand the appeal, but he doesn't do anything for me personally.

Thought you would like it. Fun Trivia fact: It was Peter Facinelli's 36th birthday but it was also Kristen Bauer (aka Pam from True Blood's) 36th birthday yesterday
Oh wow that's freaky!! Two kids who were born on the exact same day in the same year grew up to be actors playing vampires! What are the chances??

I love this film, its Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind!
Wtg Marty! Its one of my faves
.
Now your turn!
-
Fun game, Weave! This pic you've posted looks really familiar to me, but the only thing I can think of is Superman?
-
Wooo happy bday, PFach! See, now there's someone closer to my age...
-
Can't sleep, so I'm watching House Hunters. I think House Hunters International is on next
.
-
This sounds like a fun read, Paula, and I love the title! I have added it to my wishlist
.
-
Woo-hoo! Love that movie too. I would marry Wes Anderson in a heartbeat (wait, did I just say that?!). Does anyone know is he available?
Okay here goes:
"If only I could meet someone new. I guess my chances of that happening are somewhat diminished, seeing that I'm incapable of making eye contact with a woman I don't know."
-
I know, I'm so lame! But really, do you expect anything else from me?! You like Damon and Stefan too, Weave, admit it!
-
PFach is always a good sport
He is! He's hilarious to watch in interviews and appearences. Never a dull moment I'm sure when he's around
.
-
Watching a re-run of the Vampire Diaries
. I've seen it but I won't pass up a chance to ogle Damon and Stefan!
-
Hilarious, Stephanie! I love that PFach made an appearance too
. The Jacob guy did look like Teen Wolf! LOL!
-
Congrats on cooking dinner, CaliLily! I just returned with leftovers in hand so I'm very happy
.
-
Ooooh one of my faves, Weave! Royal Tenenbaums, right?
-
Go, go, go Stephanie!! You are a superwoman for waiting this long! Have fun
.

I'm going to see it again tomorrow afternoon. I've almost completely forgotten the film already and I only saw it a week ago - I think I was too excited about seeing it on the first day, and I didn't take it all in, so I'm going to really try and pay more attention this time!
Let us know what you think of it the second time around, Chesil. I felt the same way too though, I was so excited after waiting to see it forever that I missed things the first viewing. When I went back I tried to pay more attention, especially to where the songs from the soundtrack were placed.
I hope you get to see it again, Noll! It's pricey here too - at night it's $9, ugh. I'm making myself only see it at matinees from now on.
-
I would have to respectfully disagree on the point of RP's acting, since I think he played him like the Edward of the books. And even though I'm on his team, I'm also definitely on Team Charlie
.
-
I hope you get to go soon! I'm off for the 3rd time on Saturday
.
-
You don't have to worry about me, Stephanie! I'll be on his team with you forever
. When are you going to see the film, btw? How are functioning not having seen it yet?!
Has anyone read...?

Ditto to what Echo said, BookJumper. I saw the film first and absolutely loved it, so I bought the book but have yet to read it.
