  1. I did not expect you to start this soon! I have placed a reservation for it at my library, which should be no later then 20th Jan. Still have my current read which I will follow by a shorter one then hopefully I will have it and can start
  2. Glad to hear! I loved 11/22/63 so if it is anywhere near that quality I won' be disappointed.
  3. I've had it a while now but have put it off as there were so many other King books I wanted to read. But now it will be my next King read within the next couple of months.

Clarke Malloreon - David Eddings It is ambitious but I'm not aiming to finish all of them, at least make a start on them and finish some.

  7. The Painted Man by Peter V. Brett is £2.99 and the sequel The Desert Spear is £1.99 at the moment on Kindle. Almost finished The Painted Man and would certainly recommend it!

  12. I won't start a new thread as this one wasn't specific to this year, I will at some point try and update my TBR and wishlist. Since Christmas I have bought a few books, mostly with my Amazon gift card Waylander II and The Quest for Heroes by David Gemmell Dragondrums by Anne McCaffrey The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson (Mass Market PB) Replay by Ken Grimwood (Steve's fault) also got Watership Down, Last Exit to Brooklyn and Double Dexter but they don't count on here.

  15. I have this lovely three volume edition The History of Britain by Simon Schama 3000 BC-2000 AD. I would certainly recommend them.

  17. Finished Rose Madder, quite enjoyed it but at 600 pages it was too long for a suspense novel. Some very good bits but a lot of unnecessary stuff in there as well. Overall 7/10
  18. I have been putting it off for quite some time, cause I have so many other series to read so I kind of just want to start it. Think I will get the ebooks though, the paperbacks do look nice but I just don't have the room

  20. Yeah you're right... but that is the point, he is an anti-hero. He knows he isn't normal and what he does isn't right, he just tries to make it slightly less worse.
  21. The Green Hornet, it was ok, had some funny moments but Seth Rogen stopped being funny after his first film.
