  4. I'm going to start the third Vera book later on, I'll try and finish the two of them, but who knows. I only read about 50 pages yesterday and so far today I've read about 70 so 120 pages in about 2.5 hours of reading.
  5. Conceiving You - Riverside, Private Property - Judas Preist
  6. Astronomy - Metallica
  7. Breakout - Foo Fighters
  8. Thanks, Kreader. I'm finding that when I start a new series that they tend to lack impact or originality, because I read so much crime.
  9. Having read the post about the december reading circle, I've cheated and bought the book I! Want to read at the price of £3.18. Where do I pay the Fine?
  10. Home - Depeche Mode (Apologies for cheating in name 3)
  11. I mainly read Crime Fiction and I would like to try some science fiction, short oneoffs or triloigies, but not long sets.
  12. Who's Going To Drive You Home - The Cars
  13. Representative
  14. R.I.P Tom Clancy. He was one of my early reads. I enjoyed the Jack Ryan novels and his Clark spinoffs.
  15. Baby Can't Drive - Slash
  16. Readathon Hidden Depths - Ann Cleeves Julie stared at him, submerged beneath the bath water, his hair rising like fronds of seaweed towards the surface. She couldn't see his body because of the flowers... A hot summer night on the Northumberland coast and Julie Armstrong arrives home from a night out to find her son strangled, laid out in a bath of water and covered in wild flowers. The stylized murder has Detective Inspector Vera Stanhope intrigued. But then another body is discovered in a rock pool, the corpse again strewn with flowers. Vera must work quickly to find this killer who is making art out of death. As the local residents are forced to share their deepest, darkest secrets, the killer watches, waits and plans to prepare another beautiful, watery grave... I think it's because I've seen the adaptations on the tv, Vera doesn't seem to have a team behind her in the books. It's mainly just Joe and the Pathologist.
