Yes I still read children's books now and luckily I have a 4 year old who absolutely adores reading
My favourites are
The Tiger Who Came To Tea
Mog The Forgetful Cat
The Stone Cage (My mum owned a copy when I was a child and I was devestated to find out it was out of print. Then a couple of years back, my boyfriend managed to find a copy )
Harry Potter
The Chronicles of Narnia
And all Roald Dahl books. I used to own nearly all of them and I re-read them until they fell apart.
I really liked Bones, used to watch it loads when I lived with my parents. Sadly, I don't have the TV Channel it's on anymore but I am tempted to buy some of the DVD box sets.
I enjoyed most of the books I was told to read at school and college. I always try to read everything with an open mind and still re-read a lot of the books I read at college and secondary school.
Loved reading Jamaica Inn, I was gripped from start to finish and could barely put the book down. I've read Rebecca as well and might get round to reading some more of Du Maurier's work when I get the chance.
I read it earlier in the year because a friend recommended it to me and I love the subject area but something just didn't work for me. I found the writing to be a bit confusing at times and other parts just plain boring. There were a few parts that gripped me but it wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the book in my opinion.
Hello everyone I'm new here. My name is Kate and from England. I am currently reading Villette by Charlotte Brontë.
I greatly enjoy reading a wide variety of books. I'll happily read any genre as long as the books interests me. The Non-Fiction I like is normally European History, especially women in history and the Tudors. I had a look around before registering and I really liked what I saw so hopefully I'll post loads.
