Raven I do have to agree with you, we also said that they had not turned up. I put the comment on to see if the post was still in play or not. Its the second test this weekend so I hope they have had a talking to to get their act together. I want us to win but at least feel there has been a match in the first place.

Did anyone else watch the Cricket over the weekend between England and West Indies I must say I didn't expect us to thrash them so much but was still a good game.
  3. Finally finished reading the Essex Serpent - Sarah Perry. I did enjoy this one Now moved onto Under a Cornish Sky by Liz Penwick and The Muse by Jessie Burton
  4. What an awful few days, heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones.
  5. Never Never - James Patterson
  6. The temperature gauge says it warm but not as far as I am concerned. We have forecasted rain for the whole week. Jippee
  7. When we were out for a walk last week we bumped into our neighbour who has got a new puppy, it is so gorgeous. Please don't ask me what breed it is as I can never remember, yes I am awful, all I know is it is a creamy brown and was adorable. I will ask later and hopefully will remember.
  8. Hope you had a good weekend catching up with family Athena I bet they have so many stories to tell. Will take more than one weekend.
  9. We have watched all but the last season of Bones. I think the dvd will be with us sometime this weekend which will be good so that we can see how it all ends. Not been watching too much over the summer preferred to read. I am sure will catch up once the darker nights come in.
  10. The same here Nollaig, we had a beautiful weekend, yesterday was cold and wet and today is fairly nice again.
  11. Cross the Line - Alex Cross - James Patterson
  12. I also bought a few books on kindle over the weekend, a few boxed sets. One box set is about Greece and the other Italy. Which I am looking forward to reading at some point. Started the new Alex Cross book by James Patterson Cross the Line and also read the bookshot Cross Kill I was quite bored with some of the earlier Alex Cross books but definitely enjoying these later ones
  13. What a lovely weekend it was, you don't need to do much or go very far when you get such nice weather. Pottered around the garden tidying up as I went along, nothing too strenuous, inbetween reading. Last year we had many holidays around the uk but this year we are going abroad and our second holiday is not for a few weeks so looking forward to that, cannot wait.
  14. Black coffee as the day is just beginning and a work day.
  15. James Patterson - Cross Justice Julia Williams - The Summer Season
  16. Nice work if you can get it - Celia Imrie - I read the first book Not Quite Nice which I so enjoyed and this is the continuation of that book. I'm sure you can read them individually as well but it is the same characters. Invitation to Die - Jaden Syke - this is the first book in a new series from this author - I have read quite a lot of her books and enjoyed them.
  17. The Dark Tower trynuoc venaeh
  18. I am a mood reader, I think that is why I read a couple of books at a time, if one of the ones I am reading isn't grabbing me that night I will pick a different one up. Its very rare that I don't want to read anything.
  19. What a dreary weekend, didn't get to sit out at all as just as I put chairs out it rained again so gave up. Lot of surface water driving into work today so will have to be careful around the lanes.
  20. I picked this one up over the weekend and got through it in no time The Cake Shop in the Garden - Carole Matthews - really enjoyed it wasent hard to read and was an easy way of relaxing.
  21. A Peach and Pineapple yogurt - Muller Light
  22. Wasent that a good match, as you say made all the better because England won. I do think that India gave it away though they really went to pot at the end. But that is the name of the game.
  23. Its not been too good today, no sunshine to speak of and it cannot have been too warm because I did not have to have my fan on.
  24. Keep it up Pontalba. they do say the slower it comes off the better and that is a good loss. I have just reached 31 lbs loss since the middle of January. I started doing it originally to go on holiday in may and since I got back just continued with it. I am doing slimming world as I find this suits my way of life.
