I'm working the late shift all this week so will give me plenty of opportunity to get stuck into Wolves Of The Calla. Also, I started Watchmen yesterday and am really enjoying it so far. I'll be trying to give both books equal amounts of attention but I can see that failing somewhere along the lines.
I've not read the Graphic novel yet but it's definitely on my TBR pile. I have, however, watched the film and from the thing's you guys have said it looks to be quite a close match. I simply LOVED the film so I've got high expectations.
I'm really disappointed in myself. I haven't picked up my book for 3 days now! There's one New Year's Goal (I do not make resolutions) ruined already. Please scold me so that I know I've done bad.
I got a shopping list once (and a boring one at that)... that's been about it I'm jealous. What an interesting find, Janet. And, Ophelia, I can't believe anyone would use a rasher of bacon. Was there grease all over the pages? How vulgar!
I have a very good friend out in Brisbane who has shared photos of his old backyard creek in Biloela back on Boxing day and that looked like Chinese rice fields.
I hope this subsides very quickly and the people of Queensland don't lose any more people. Thoughts are with you all.
I wasn't really a fan of his music, however "Baker Street" is easily one of my favourite songs of all time. May he rest peacefully, or rock out hard in the afterlife, whichever is his preference.
Last Cinema Film was Tron: Legacy. But I watched Inception on Blu-Ray last night with the missus.
And, LauraLoves, I know what part in I Am Legend you cry at and that part makes me cry too.
The game "Metro 2033" is based upon this book. or could it be the other way around? (probably book before game). The game is outstanding so I can bet the book is very good too.
I'm working the late shift all this week which mean sitting around reading a book until the end of the shift, because no one logs a call with the helpdesk after 5pm so what else am I going to do until 10pm?.... I love the late shift

I saw a preview screening of Tron: Legacy (courtesy of sky) last Tuesday. Staggeringly beautiful film and does the original a great deal of justice. And the soundtrack is divine. I recommend anyone try and listen to it.
