I've got some really old paperbacks from Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer series. I don't know their exact publishing dates but the things are old as dirt. The titles I own are I, the Jury and My Gun is Quick.

I'd love to see an on-screen adaption of Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series, though I have no idea who would play who or how well it would translate from the books.

I'm just about finished with Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Novels and Stories Volume I. I've just got a few more cases to go; I'll be sad to finish it. I guess it's a good thing I have Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Novels and Stories Volume II on stand-by!

I always like to use movie theater ticket stubs; I've got a million of them laying around and I think it's fun to select which movie would be appropriate for each book.

Hello, everyone. I just recently joined this forum and am pretty excited to finally have a place to discuss one of my more avid hobbies- reading! No one in my current social circle is too into the whole book scene, so I think it'll be nice to be part of a community like this one. I am a very active reader; I read constantly. I think I need the mental stimulation. But I really enjoy mysteries, thrillers, detective novels especially, and basically any thing along those lines. Some of my favorite authors at the moment are Dean Koontz, and Michael Connelly; I've been reading a lot of their work lately. Um...as far as all that goes, I guess that's about it. I look forward to future book discussions!
