  1. I'm really liking my 40's. Time has given me a confidence that I had to fake through my 20's and a freedom that eluded me thoughout my 30's. I wouldn't swap the peace of mind I have now for a less wobbly bottom.....well not on a good day.
  2. Milk chocolate Chanel or Dior?
  3. I've read most of his novels and I always find him a challenge. Dictionary on standby. I started with How the Dead Live, quickly folowed by Dorian. Some of his tales are very grim, but very entertaining. He's an acquired taste, some find him too poncey. But thus far, I've enjoyed his novels, but I prefer his non-fiction scribblings.
  4. ITV HD coverage is PANTS! They cut to an accidental ad break before England's goal. The horns are really bad. You can't hear the crowd chanting or the lads playing the Great Escape theme. Shame.
  5. Forgive us footie fans for hijacking your lovely thread with talk of plimpsolls and curtains. It was Mac's fault. He started it.
  6. That'll get you to your local A&E pretty quickly I'd have thought.

Don't you dare 'Man-up'. As a lass that's surrounded on a daily basis by hairy arsed builders clamouring for food, the breath of fresh air is much appreciated.

  7. I never forgot my kit, it was left festering in a pump bag my nana made from old curtains, until the end of term.
  8. How lovely. Before I gave up drinking Rioja was always my fave. Faustino V especially.Yum. I've just cut a a heap of salad stuff from the yarden and burnt a chicken. Man of many talents Mac, curry from scratch? You realise that as a pukka bloke you should have bought it from a nasty takeaway before passing out in an ashtray after 10 pints of Stella?? I thought that was the done thing.x

  9. Wellies might help. Or those black plimpsolls we wore for PE in nursery school. I could always run dead fast in mine. Someone should suggest it.
  10. Hey hun, how's tricks? I am indeed luvverlee and well, fab day whiling away the hours, conferring with the flowers. What are you doing while the rest of the country watches the match? X

  11. I'm not an avid footie fan, but I get into the World Cup comp. I think it's the anticipation, the hope and ultimately the drama. The possibility that during my lifetime, I'll see the boys win instead of going out on penalties. Come on England! Give it some welly!!!!!!!!
  12. Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream
  13. That's fantastic Chrissy. Being caught bare bummed by a group of beardie ramblers when I got caught short on a hike, doesn't seem quite as bad now. At least there wasn't a cheesy snack stuck on it.
