after reading that thread I have just ordered The Stand - all 1344 pages

I would really like to give this a go and have been humming and haring about getting that set for a couple of days now but think I am about to give in

have started a list now - better late than never I usually read adventure/spy/crime type books but have never read any Stephen King so I am going to try some of his so what are the ones I should start with?

............. think about keeping a list of the books I have read - 4 out of the last 5 books I have borrowed from the library I have already read. It wasnt until I started reading them I had that funny feeling it all seemed rather familiar

I have all the box sets (apart from the last series) and love it - real shame they are not making any more. That and Bones are the only things I watch on TV these days.

I have only not finished 1 book - I think it was called The Librarian and I just couldn't get into it and after several tries I gave up. I always try to finish them because I know the author has put a lot of time and effort into it so I kinda feel bad if I don't see them out till the end.

I got the box set for Christmas and am loving it. Being Welsh and living in Essex its all bit surreal I very rarely watch TV so I missed it 1st time around. Also got Bones series 1 which I am planning to watch next

I'm half way through The Charlemagne Pursuit and I don't think it is as good as some of the others I have read. Probably finish in in the next couple of days but the bad thing is I don't have anything lined up yet - will have to go to the book shop under the pretense of going to work. (I work from home so the only reason I go to the "office" is to visit either the library, book shop or the record shop)

Bit disappointed with this one after enjoying the others but I still managed to finish it in 2 days so couldn't have been that bad

Just found this forum and hoping for some new book ideas. Mainly into spy/adventure and crime but open to suggestions. Halfway through The Charlemagne Pursuit (Christmas Present) - its ok but am on the look out for other suggestions. Cheers, Graham
