I tried reading this a while ago and felt the same - disappointed. Although for me I wasn't even keen on the beginning. This was the first book I've read by Baldacci and I don't think I will bother reading any more.

Finished the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe yesterday and started Misery - on my, I thought it would be slow like a lot of King's books but if it is I haven't noticed. I'm hanging on every word! Is it wrong that I find Annie funny? Like when she or when she I haven't felt this into a book in a long time. I hope it continues the way it has started. I also really like Paul and really willing him not to make her angry. Like when my heart was in my mouth wondering how he was going to get away with it! My parcel arrived yesterday - there was a slip through the door saying it had been put in a safe place. They're idea of a safe place being the bin! Luckily OH went round to Moms just in case it had arrived, especially as the bin men come on a Friday morning! I just can't get over the fact they left my precious package in the BIN!

I've just been on Amazon because I was going to pre order Dead in the Family and the cover doesn't match the rest of the series I have (and I'm not paying all that money to buy them all again!)

I know I should have a good clear out because there are a few books on my shelf that I'm definately not going to read but I find it difficult to get rid of books - even books I've read and didn't like. I know I've got to though because it makes space for books that I am actually going to read...take a few deep breaths and be strong you can do this!

I really should re-read this but I have such a lovely copy now I don't want it to get messy! Hopefully I still have my trashed old copy in the house some where so I can read that and keep my pretty on tidy.

I decided to put Ritual down for the moment - I just couldn't get into it and I am now half way through The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I can't seem to settle on anything at the moment. I checked on Amazon and my package isn't expected to arrive until Friday!

If it's non-alcoholic then coffee but I like the odd cup of tea. I love Cola too but try not to drink it very often instead I drink squash or water if it's filtered. Alcohol wise I mostly drink cider. I like regular Strongbow but I enjoy the fruity or pear ones sometimes. I also drink lager but that's generally when a pub doesn't sell any cider that I like. I rarely drink spirits but if I do it's vodka, malibu or archers. If it's shots I quite like Cactus Jack, Goldschlager, Jegermeister or black Aftershock. (Just realised that I'm a drunk )

I think I'm cooking today so it'll be pasta or gammon and ickle boiled potatoes.

For me it would be 1. Beauty and the Beast 2. Aristicats 3. Sleeping Beauty. But then there's Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Fox and the Hound and don't forget Cool Runnings and Hocus Pocus!

Not a DVD but my and OH watched Eight Legged Freaks on TV last night. We've both watched it before but it was good for some light entertainment.
