A bowl of porridge is on the menu today . There's nothing i fancy eating in the cupboards and i don't want to go out to the shops .

A book i've re-read numerous times (although not for a while) is 'A Short History of Nearly Everything', by Bill Bryson. I really enjoy his style of writing. At the moment i'm re-reading Fahrenheit 451, as part of the 'reading circle'. Everytime someone posts an opinion i find myself going back and dipping into the book to get a new perspective on it .

Enjoyed the Hunk-off, enjoyed Sisqo's buttocks and enjoyed Jonas physique . It didn't need to be drawn-out to 1 1/2 hours though . Loved Ivana's unexpected appearance. It was magical Did anyone notice the length of her earlobes, or am i being cruel?

Bless 'em. They don't know what there missing out on I know that chocolate is poisonous to dogs. Although, i had a dog years ago and he happily ate chocolate. Maybe i should add that to the 'something i learned' thread .

Forgot to add i was slightly disappointed with Eric's appearance - i think he had long hair in last night's episodes. He looks waaay better with short hair . And the CGI for the vampire fangs look pretty good too rather than have the actors wear 'vampire dentures' .

A new surprise house-mate is to be introduced into the house tonight. Cannot believe how excited i am thinking about this . Somebody shoot me!

I'd like to read this. How are you finding the book Andy? Had a look on Amazon and it's 848 pages long!!! Same here Cookie! Only registered last month and i'm steadily building up a list of books to be read . I'm even noticing books that i didn't think would be of interest! It's all good fun .

I saw this for the first time last night, it was the last two episodes. I wouldn't have known anything about this show if it wasn't for the number of fans on this site . Will be hoping to read the book soon. Joining the series near the end meant i was a little confused as to what was going on but i suspected who the murderer was quite early on *smug smile* . Don't want to upset hardcore fans, but i thought the actress playing Sookie(sp) was pretty poor. I'm not familiar with her. She only has one facial expression and she's not charismatic enough to be a leading character . The rest of the cast were ok, though. If it's repeated i'll watch from the start and give it another go . As someone else posted, big thumbs up to the title song and the opening title sequence. It's very eye-catching!
