  1. This is only the 4th one which I have read but so far I have really enjoyed them all but I find that you do really have to concentrate on the story. Ive got Nineteen Minutes and Picture Perfect to read now but gonna read a few different books before i start on them
  2. thanks for your recommendations....Im gonna try and read them all
  3. I like how her books always end up in courtroom drama as when you normally read crime books it doesnt really say what happens in court and for me it is a change for me to read something like her books. Ive read the Xmas Factor by Annie Sanders and I really enjoyed that. What other book by them can you recommend for me to read? I like reading a wide range of books so any recommendations would be good
  4. I have just finished reading this book and really enjoyed it. I found some of the chapters very long and at times this frustrated me as I like to finish a chapter before I fall asleep. I enjoyed where she was going between the past and present telling both Emily's and Chris's story. I just feel that it was a bit unfair that nobody knew the real reason why Emily did not want to carry on living and feel that her mother is in the wrong for burning her journal. Has anyone read this book? If so, what are your views? Rachel
  5. Is this book any good? I've read some of her books and ive been debating about whether to buy this one or not....Let me know your thoughts on it

  11. With James Patterson books I find that I am unable to put them down when I start reading them whereas lately with the Martina Cole ones I have actually stopped reading them and started reading a different book. The Alex Cross series is good but I much prefer the Women's Murder Club series which is what got me hooked on reading his books. Im one of those people that once ive read a book of an author I like to read them all. I just can't help myself. Goodnight Lady is one of my favourite Martina Cole books along with Two Women Rachel xx
  12. martina cole releases one book every year normally around october time... this is why im finding it hard to understand why her books are not as good as before....james patterson has one out nearly every month and his books are amazing...i know he has co-writers but he is still really good
  13. im reading fast friends by jill mansell and im readdy enjoying it....would you recommend thinking of you?
  14. close was the wrong book for you to start reading of martina cole's...try two women, the ladykillers or goodnight lady. i found her earlier books were better...after 'the know' they have gone downhill but i feel seen as i have read all her others i like to read her new ones. I am just starting to read hard girls now which i had for christmas
  15. I have read the xmas factor before...cant really remember what it was about so it couldnt have been that good
  16. My Sister's Keeper is the one which got me hooked on jodi picoult. the other one which i really enjoyed was perfect match but im unable to add it to my list yet
  17. ive read a few of her books and really enjoyed them. the only problem i had with one of them was that the chapters were too long and i couldnt put the book down as i wanted to know what was gonna happen next lol...i had many late nights with that book
  18. this book is one of my favourites and made me cry...not many books do that to me. i think the film was rubbish compared to the book
  19. Salem Falls - Jodi Picoult Forgive and forget - Patricia Scanlan Coming Home - Patricia Scanlan The Murder of King Tut - James Patterson My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult
  20. out of the list my favourite has to be Marian Keyes and Sophie Kinsella. But my favourite authors of all time are Martina Cole and James Patterson:)
  21. I have read this book and was very surprised at the ending. I was completely disappointed with the film and wont be watching that again. I am currently reading Salem Falls. Have you read it? Im finding it hard to stick with it at the moment.
