  1. I'm from the tiny country of Holland!
  2. I was suprised to see no Dollhouse threads. Anyone watches it? I love it. It started out a bit rocky, but from the moment Patton Oswalt arrived, the show turned to awesome! Josh Whedon can't go wrong
  3. Does anyone know when the new special will be on? I really miss the weekly episodes!
  4. I did buy this book, but haven't had time to read it. But it's nice to hear it's good!
  5. I love reading while moving! Especially in a train. Have done some of my best reading in a train to Germany!
  6. I thought he was writing a new book, but it has been a long time since we heard from him!
  7. I have a magnetic one with some delftware tiles on there! Very Dutch, but i love it. And the magnets make sure i don't lose my bookmark, something i'm prone to do!
  8. Anyone excited about Fforde's new novel 'Shades of Grey'? I've read the synopsis on his site and it already caught my attention! We just have to wait until the end of this year! Check his website for more info. (I would post the link here, but i haven't posted enough yet.)
  9. Only 2 months to go! I've been anxiously awaiting The Angel's Game. I even decided to buy the Hardcover version (something I dislike) just because i can't wait anymore.
  10. I enjoy the crazier Murakami from Hard-Boiled Wonderland more than the serious one from Norwegian Wood. Although these books are also really good. Has anyone already read his latest Novel 'What i think about, when i think about running'? I haven't has time yet, but I'm very excited!
  11. When I read The Great Gatsby it had some kind of magical effect on me. I finished it without really remembering what it was about. I just knew i had a great story by one of the best writers in the world. I'll read it again very soon!
  12. I think almost all films from books are bad. The only recent one i liked was Watchmen. I think with making the films they should stay as true to the book ad possible.
  13. The most disturbing book i've read was by George Bataille - Story of the Eye. While he's explaining his philosophy, he does this in such a disturbing story about explicit content, which i will not describe here. I was reading this book on my way to school in the subway and just couldn't stop blushing. So, not a good book to read when you're young and undamaged. But besides that i also have to go with Tokyo from Mo Hayder. Everything she writes is so scary!
