  1. Aw, hope everything'll be fine, chica. :friends:

  2. Haha, No worries, Nightwish, no worries ;) Where were you anyway? Busy with school or work or something?

  3. Baha, of course. ;) It's fine here, I'm just...multi tasking like a maniac right now  I'm reading, chatting, browsing two boards and once, and also watching Tennis Live scores. Betcha can't do that, ay ;) How are things there?

  4. yeah, maybe they should just end the whole thing, I mean, five seasons is enough, no?

Baha, nice comparison there. The gang DID spend too much time camping. It was like, the whole book was about them camping and planning out the whole Ministry thing and the whole Godric's Hollow thing. I didn't really mind it much, though, I was too into the whole story, waiting for something to happen..

  5. Baha, I remember trying to build this neohome thing but got really frustrated because it took so long. xD Yes, the games were so awesome! Meerca Chase! So fun.

Yes, the stupid traveling thing was so..weird. The concept was so...desperate. I think they're running out of ideas, no?

  6. Ahh yes. The new series are quite...weird. I mean, I could cope with polar bears and weird smokey monster things but...I Don't know, it's just too weird now, and most of the time you don't know what's going on, if you don't have a good memory. Same with Heroes, too, for me. I really really loved the first season when the people are just starting to figure out what's wrong with them, what their powers are and how to control them, but now it's just getting ridiculous.

Rofl, yes, I got nasty looks back in the day, when I used to go on Neopets. I used to be ADDICTED to neopets and went on there when I was bored at school. People stared at me. Alot. xD

  7. I'm a Lost freak! I'm starting to lose interest though. It's getting...weirder and weirder each season.

It used to be like, they were actually LOST in the island, and now it's like, some of them have GONE from the island...and then came back...and then went back to the real world again so I'm like, you're not really LOST are you.

What about Heroes, do you like it?

  8. lol, your BROTHER watches it? Baha. I did not expect that. Yeah, my mother LOOOOVES Bold and the Beautiful, for some reason. I'm like, wth is so good about it?!

  9. Yes, you are right! And the dramas are so similar. Like I said, some girl gets pregnant, girl's underage. Guy says he cheated on girl, some slaps here and there. It's so repetitive, it's funny. I haven't seen the finale of Lost yet. *bites nails* I can't find any videos on the internet for some reason. The suspense is killing me! Did you ever get into Lost at all?

  10. Yes, I don't watch much television either. Australian free to air is craaaaaaap. And yes, most of the shows they show I don't like. like, neighbours (shudders) and bold and the beautiful (even more shudders). I don't like those kinda things because I think their acting is Very very very very bad. And usually the plot includes some girl getting pregnant, and the said girl cheating on the boyfriend, blehbluhblah.

  11. Oh right. Yes, I thought your review of Harukam Marik- bleh, something, was quite powerful, in your OTHER thread, Mac Reads 09. And I'm very interested in the Piano Tuner, too. Sounds like a good one, and...like, pretty much all the books in your McRecommend list thing. I shall check them out soon, maybe borrow them from ze library, no? Hopefully, I'll get my mojo back.

  12. I try to avoid re-reading and re-reading books I love because there are SO MANY books that I haven't read, so I feel like I'm missing out.

LOL, no worries with you saying mate all the time, mate. Oh wow, It might be contagious! :o

  13. Wow you really like that word don't you? Mate, I mean. My weekend is pretty much the same as yours. I don't think I'll be reading much though, it feels like I'm losing my mojo again! It's sad, really. :(

  14. Hello there Mac! Yes, I am quite well today, thank you. ;) You doing fine? Have any plans for the weekend?

  15. I have never heard of Waterloo Road. Whats it about?

Yes, I really liked Desperate Housewives, I only watched the first season though, didn't have time for the other ones. Garr. I also have to admit that I used to like stuff like One Tree Hill, The OC and stuff. Now OTH is losing it's touch though, since they're all adults now and the last season of The OC was very incredibly bad.

And I'm also a sucker for those sitcom type things. Friends, Scrubs.. OH and Doctor show things as well, Grey's Anatomy, House.. They're so awesome.

  16. Oh, how can you NOT like Friends. I'm trying to collect all the seasons on DVD, but so far only have 5. and yes, I watch them over and over again and still laugh and cry at all the right moments.

I never really got into the oldies too. I like American shows too though. LOST is just awesome, although I still think they're losing their touch. So is Heroes.

  17. LOL I love british humour. All the awesome comedy shows seem to come from the UK. The Mighty boosh, The IT Crowd, little britain.

I find a lot of stuff funny too. Hell, I find EVERYTHING funny.

  18. Ahh yes, they're the first books of the whole series, right? I didn't think they were really funny, not as funny as the other, future books.

  19. Sorry for the late reply, I thought I'd already replied but just found out that I didn't.

Which Terry Pratchett book does Ze Boyfriend have? Yes, he's quite awesome. He's so hilarious!

  20. ROFL, Hey, I can do essays in a day too! I just... wait til the last minute.

I am so tired right now. It's like, 11.30pm and I'm tired. I can't sleep before 12 for some reason... It's a weird thing, I hate it. Grr.

Have you read any of Terry Pratchett's books?

  21. I haven't heard of most of the books you mentioned! You must tell me about them. I've read all of Dan Brown's books, and I LOVE them, they're so full of mystery, and good plots. Well, most anyway. And I absolutely ADORE LOTR and The Hobbit. They're the books that made me fall in love with reading. And My sister likes Cathy Kelly. I put some of her books in my list but then took 'em off for some reason... Can't remember why. I have Anne Rice and Jane Austen in my list too. I tried Pride and Prejudice more than twice and 'fraid I wasn't very into it. It always makes me fall asleep for some reason, and I drift off, too. Since everyone likes her so much, I think I'll finally finish it this time 'round. I have to try at least.

What are some of your dad's fantasy books? And Grr at essays! I have a few stuff to do too...And I have an essay due next week which I haven't started yet. Maybe I should... Oh well.

  22. ROFL guys and their video games. Yes, in my home, not alot of people read. Hell, only me and my sister read. My parents always think she's a bigger bookworm though, and only get HER books, and I only get... well, nothing. Plus, she pretty much only reads chick-lit. And yes, I hate it when people are like, You're a nerd! When they discover that you read. It's like, Grow up! And yes, I joined on here to discover more genres too. Get good recommendations off of people and stuff, and of course, to talk about the books I adore. I usually just read chick-lit (influence of my sister), fantasy and teenage fiction stuff. Now, I'm trying to span the genres and get some horror/thriller/crime into my library.

so..outside of HP and Twilight, what are your fave books?

  23. UGH, I hate it when people say that, "I LOVE IT!" why? "THE ACTORS ARE SO HOT!" It's so shallow, really. It makes me wonder, what, is that the ONLY thing they liked about the movie?

You shouldn't have explained the books! You shoulda just let her find out for herself. But yeah, I mean, you found time to re-read 7 books, why couldn't she? She must not have been that dedicated.

  24. Yeah, I didn't really imagine Rosalie as anything either, just a blonde girl :dunno: But still- she coulda been more beautiful in the movie. I mean, Bella was prettier than her.

I don't really LOVE the series anymore. I mean, my love for it kinda disintegrated when the movie and the fourth book came out. Plus, all the hype still sickens me. I mean, all the fans going like, OMG I LOVE EDWARD blehblah I LOVE JASPER Blehblah and when you ask them if they've read the series they go, "I don't read. *blink* "

    Call themselves fans.
