My Thoughts: I wasn't really expecting much from this book. I read 'Interview with the Vampire' over a year ago and I found it to be a difficult and boring read as I was never fond of Louis much and I loved the film. I found this copy of 'The Vampire Lestat' in a second hand book store and got it because it was cheap and because I know my dad is a huge fan of the series so at least somebody would read it . I was actually really surprised when I read it as I loved it so much! Right from the beginning the characters felt familiar (even though it was a

I loved Lestat in this book, I liked seeing a different side from what was portrayed of him in 'Interview' and it was interesting to see how things he gets shown and told all fits in place, such as
I like books that show the history of characters as I get a better understanding of them, and, well...I just like history . Loved this book and will be going to buy the next one soon! Rating: 9/10
