  1. I thought that tonight and then remembered yesterday I was wearing shorts shorter than hers so can't complain . Awww I like Rory, I think hes sweet! I think something big might be coming up with him though, I don't know why but it would be awesome if he wasn't what he seems .
  2. Updates will be coming soon, I've just been so very very busy lately what with doing all this overtime at work and finishing University. I finished Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris about a week ago now, I really did enjoy it and I am really happy to be back reading the Sookie Stackhouse books, a review should be coming soon .
  3. Awesome Weave! I would have loved seeing it earlier like you, but I like the birthday feel of it .
  4. Wooo my boyfriend came online this morning after he finished work just to tell me hes booked tickets to go and see Eclipse on my birthday:woohoo: .
  5. Just checked the Odeon website and ours is pre-booking now ! Just text my boyfriend begging him to book tickets! July 9th is my birthday so I am going to have a very special 21st with the Cullen guys :D!!
  6. I look foward to the mens views on this ! Another thing that bugs me, going to work with a hangover... >.< totally my own fault but it can still annoy me, I only thought of my own happiness at the time the drinks started coming in ! (I was the person who drove them all to the gig and back, so I think I deserved all those drinks at the party after) .
  7. Shame I didn't think about that at the time. For the past few days I have been down about loads of little things that is mounting up into one big thing and just go to zombieland, and I was feeling down while we was out at the gig, maybe they realised that so was just keeping a distance or ignoring me? Still...manners . What makes it worse is after they all went out for a smoke leaving me sitting there. I know I could have got up and gone with them but they was just all in conversation with each other about band stuff which I wasn't paying much attention to, me knowing nothing about music, and just walked off and leaving me. I love how the boyfriend came back after 5minutes to ask if I was coming out or not, lovely .
  8. Meeting someone for the first time and doing a favour for them without getting a thanks at the end ! Boyfriends friend made such a big deal of wanting someone to film the gig they did (this is another one of his bands) so seeing I was the only one there they knew I did it for them. I got totally ignored at the end and never got a thank you so just put the camera on the table and left them to it.
  9. The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl by Belle de Jour Synopsis from Waterstones: Belle de Jour is the nom de plume of a high-class call girl working in London. This is her story. From the summer of 2003 to the autumn of 2004 Belle charted her day-to-day adventures on and off the field in a frank, funny and award-winning web diary. Now, in her Intimate Adventures, Belle elaborates on those diary entries, revealing (among other things) how she became a working girl, what it feels like to do it for money, and where to buy the best knickers for the job. From debating the literary merits of Martin Amis with naked clients to smuggling whips into luxury hotels, this is a no-holds barred account of the high-class sex-trade, and an insight into the secret life of an extraordinary woman. My Thoughts: I picked up this book because I loved the TV show that was based from these books. The book was what I expected, but with less sex which to be honest was a good thing. I won't go into too much here, but most of the sex parts did make me cringe! Just...ouch! I did enjoy the book, I would enjoy reading more, but there was one thing that confused me and that was giving characters names such as A1 or N. I know this is based on her life so should be kept anonymous but she could have at least thought up some fake names. For some reason the names would have been easier to remember rather than a code. Rating: 8/10
  10. Haha, I love Eric and Pam!!
  11. Just finished watching Waterloo Road
  12. The Law of Nines by Terry Goodkind Synopsis from Waterstones: The #1 New York Times bestselling author delivers a stunningly original , high-octane thriller. They watch you through mirrors! 'Your mother was twenty-seven when it came to her. Now you're twenty-seven, and it's come to you.' The skin of Alex's arms tingled with goose bumps. By her twenty-seventh birthday insanity had come to his mother...Turning 27 may be terrifying for some, but for Alexander, a struggling artist in small-town Nebraska, it is cataclysmic. Inheriting a huge expanse of land in Maine should have made him a rich and happy man; but something about this birthday, his name, and the beautiful woman whose life he just saved, has suddenly made him -- and everyone he loves -- into a target. A target for extreme and uncompromising violence...Where do you turn when your own reflection spells doom? In Alex, Terry Goodkind brings to life a modern hero in a whole new kind of thriller. My Thoughts: This book took me ages to read, but mainly because of my lack of reading mojo. I thought the book took a while to get into as you was always wondering what was going on and nothing was making any kind of sense. This can really really annoy me! Once the story got going though it did get going and was action packed all the way through. The only thing I didn't really like about it was that it was too gory in places for me, the amount of spoilt it for me in a way as it wasn't something I really wanted to read about. The fast pace sometimes bothered me as it felt like , even though this was annoying it did make it realistic. Rating: 7/10
  13. Welcome :motz:
  14. Steph: It doesn't bother me so much, I have to listen to music while working so I put my iPod on quite low .
  15. Our Uni library has the same thing as well but they came into the silent zone. You can understand my frustration
  16. Sitting in the library trying to work when a group of people come in together, all laughing and messing around, getting no work done and distracting others. Trust me, when it is them trying to do their dissertation I'm going to come back and them off so much!!!
  17. That is gross. What gets me is when people buy fresh bread or fruit and don't put it in a bag so when it comes loading it onto the checkout belt it is just there...on the belt...no bag! People don't seem to realise how filthy the checkouts get. Yes we clean them regularly in the day and we have to clean them once the shop closes but still, every time we do clean it you won't believe the dirt picked up! And people put food on there that are not in bags or packaging!!! Its mad. Its not like you can really put bread under the tap and give it a wash before you eat it.
  18. I see it happen at work and I work at a supermarket, really is disgusting!
