  14. I only went to Bloodstock for several years in a row because my then boyfriend enjoyed going and his old German teacher actually does some work for the festival and managed to get us really cheap tickets . I hate big crowds so it wasn't the best idea but it was worth it to meet Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil .
  15. I know, it is so long away I love the clips we've been shown so far though and just think, at least we get Eclipse and new series of True Blood this summer so its not all bad .
  16. It wasn't a gig as such, it was Bloodstock metal festival that happens in the UK every year. I used to go to the indoor festival as it was just in Derby, a quick bus ride down but they've stopped doing the indoor ones now and just do the open air ones. Tried that for a few years but I don't like camping .
  17. The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice Synopsis from Waterstones: 'Ah, the taste and feel of blood when all passion and greed is sharpened in that one desire!' Lestat: a vampire - but very much not the conventional undead, for Lestat is the truly alive. Lestat is vivid, ecstatic, stagestruck, and in his extravagant story he plunges from the lasciviousness of eighteenth-century Paris to the demonic Egypt of prehistory; from fin-de-siecle New Orleans to the frenetic twentieth-century world of rock superstardom - as, pursued by the living and the dead, he searches across time for the secret of his own dark immortality. My Thoughts: I wasn't really expecting much from this book. I read 'Interview with the Vampire' over a year ago and I found it to be a difficult and boring read as I was never fond of Louis much and I loved the film. I found this copy of 'The Vampire Lestat' in a second hand book store and got it because it was cheap and because I know my dad is a huge fan of the series so at least somebody would read it . I was actually really surprised when I read it as I loved it so much! Right from the beginning the characters felt familiar (even though it was a ) and I liked how it started I loved Lestat in this book, I liked seeing a different side from what was portrayed of him in 'Interview' and it was interesting to see how things he gets shown and told all fits in place, such as I like books that show the history of characters as I get a better understanding of them, and, well...I just like history . Loved this book and will be going to buy the next one soon! Rating: 9/10
  18. I think what did it for me was reading one Jane Green book after the other. I was already used to the characters from the previous book and then to go ahead and read another book by her, the same sort of style but with different characters...I think that was a bit of a mistake. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I read something by somebody else inbetween.
  19. Loving the review for 'Change of Heart', I think I might just bump that up my reading list .
  20. Mine was possibly something by the Spice Girls...how embarrassing I was a kid at the time.
  21. Nobody plays games like that, lol. Me, my ex and my family will sit down playing games in frustration and lots of swearing . I still hate the go compare adverts, why do they still play such an annoying advert?!
  22. Just plain rudeness! This girl came to the presentations we had today and as she had already done hers last week she spent the whole 2 and a half hours sitting there whispering to her friends, laughing at people giving their presentation and sighing so loud when she was bored. Yep, a 22 year old being so ignorant!
  23. I still like it
  24. Fi, I think that
