  1. I always keep my books as I like to collect them. I'll lend them to my Mam and my 4 Twilight books are doing the rounds through my circle of friends but generally I keep them.

I buy books from charity shops but couldn't give them away unfortunately :smile2:

  2. when it's hot out, I like to go reading in a nearby forest. On a bench or under a tree, whatever takes my fancy. I take my bike, some books and off I am. The lonely traveller. Perfect solitude. The way I like it.

That sounds like the perfect way to enjoy a book Tristan :friends0:

  3. Don Henley and his  'Boys of Summer' came on the radio this morning and I was up in a flash to turn it off. I think I mentioned this song already but it's so bad I felt it was worth bringing it up again :friends0:.

 I listen to the song in the gym as it has a good beat to get on the treadmill with. However, as I find the gym really dull, this song just reminds me of being bored :D

Can anyone remember that horrid Soulja Boy song? (I think that's the correct spelling) When people use silly spellings like soulja instead of soldier, they're off to the wrong start with me :(

  4. He's cool and obviously intelligent but he seems a little disjointed with whatever is going on around him.

I remember, back in the day, when Johnny Depp was an absolute heart throb in the way that Brad Pitt was. A poster boy for girls bedrooms. I didn't realise that he actually didn't want to be that type of actor during that period until his interview. I always assumed that he was a pretty boy first who developed into a great actor.....not a great actor who was given the label of pretty boy. Wonder if it's the same for Brad Pitt......although I think he may have been a model before getting that acting job in Thelma and Louise? Hmmmmmm.....I'm just rambling now :friends0:

To me, I think he looks uncomfortable whenever he's in public, he seems quite shy and reserved.

I just can't believe that someone so reserved can pull all these crazy characters out of his hat. He's amazing :friends0:

  5. Up until the 17th century Puritans made wicker effigies of the Pope, filled it with live cats and then set the lot on fire

Apparently they liked the sounds they made while burning.

    Oh my dear God! :friends0:

    .....................I'm still speechless!

  6. Kesha's new song 'Blah Blah Blah'. How does this girl even have a record deal? Her music is **** and her voice is annoying!

Kesha full stop! She's horrendous! I'd rather cut my ears off than listen to her for any amount of time :friends0:

  7. If anyone is after a Stephen Moyer vampire fix, he was in a mini series called Ultraviolet and played a vampire in that too. It was only a 6-parter and it's not as "sexy" as True Blood, but it's still pretty good. I've had it on DVD since it first became available as I watched it when it was on the telly in 1998 and loved it!

I borrowed Ultraviolet from a guy at work a few months ago but never got around to watching it. I gave him it back as I felt I'd had it too long.

It was good to see True Blood on tv again. I believe the funny Eric episode is next week :friends0: My BF also really enjoyed it too!
