The Twilight albums, Pulp Fiction and Cruel Intentions for me!
-
As I said in the other thread, I really liked the ending. I think that I will have missed some things so I am going to rewatch it this weekend.
One query I did have - Why was Walt built up to be really important, but then forgotten about later on through the seasons? This has probably already been answered somewhere, but I can't remember
I really liked Desmond and I like the way that Ben grew as a character. Hurley always provided light relief during tense moments and I really liked seeing Charlie in the last few episodes. The main character that I didn't like was Shannon, she really annoyed me! You would have thought that Sayid would have ended up with Nadia, not her!?

Me too!!! I found it quite poignant
when it ended when Jack closed his eye. Beautiful stuff. I loved seeing them all there together, happy again.

I thought that it was quite moving really. It didn't answer loads of questions, but I never expected it to. I think that you just have to accept some things!

Did anybody attempt to watch the first airing at 5.30am uk time? I'm reading that there were a few problems:irked:
I sky plussed it and then watched an hour before work and just watched the rest now. There was a 'technical difficulty' at the start, but apart from that it wasn't too bad.
Has everyone else seen it now? I don't want to say anything until everyone else has watched it

I am hoping this hot weather makes me want to eat less. Having said that, I am now drinkinga nice cold cider which probably isn't good for the old diet. You can't win them all eh?

My o/h isn't anti the English or anything, he just doesn't support them in sport. He says that they are good team, but wouldn't follow them.

When I lose a stone or two I fully intend to get back into going most afternoons, but will be trying the council run activa gyms which you can pay around about

I hope it works for you Johnny. I tried slim fast and although I wasn't hungry all of the time, I didn't lose any weight.....I must have been doing something wrong!

If the river was slightly longer, we'd be an island!
I sill get a little bit offended if someone says that I am from Devon (no offence intended to anyone from Devon!)
I am glad Inter won. I must admit that I am a fan of "The Special One".

I like the way your b/f thinks Kimmy.....
He is supporting ABE (Anyone But England)

I had thought about reading this, but decided against it as I really didn't think that it would be as good as The Time Travellers Wife. I think that I will give it a go though now after read Mac's glowing recommendation.

Showing my ignorance here Sedge...sorry....Tamar being?
It is a river Inver. It divides Cornwall and Devon. There can be a bit of rivalry between the mighty Cornish and those from Devon.

Bet you are please Johnny. Did you see Dobbie lift his shirt in front of the camera to show " RIP Besian Idrizaj"?
-
Yeh that'll be right
Why won't you be supporting them Sedge.... something I don't kinow about you.....are you a Scot in disguise!! And yes I will join you
My b/f has told me in no uncertain terms that England matches will not be shown on our tv!

I love Irvine Welsh. I have read Filth, Porno, Ecstacy, Marabou Stork Nightmares, Trainspotting and Acid House and I really enjoyed them all. He has a unique style which is not for the faint hearted.

I have read Wicked and loved it. I have Confessions of an Ugly Sister, but struggled a bit during the first few chapters so gave up. It is still on my bedside cabinet so I will give it another go at some point.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, I can use the confidence boost at the moment.
In addition to swimming, I am going to try Zumba with some mates next week. I really don't enjoy the gym (I love swimming), so I am hoping that this is a good alternative.

I am rewatching season 1 of Charmed at the mo.

Well, I went to my first Zumba class last night and really loved it. So much so that I am going to do another session on Saturday morning It was a really good workout and you feel like you are actually working all of your muscles (even ones I didn't know that I had!!!). I found it more productive than the gym as I don't push myself enough when I am on my own. I was also suprised by the range of people there. There were lots of different age groups and fitness levels. I was chatting to one larger lady who used to struggle with movement due to her weight and she has progressed quite a lot in a few months. The people were really friendly too which helps.
I'm aching a bit today...!
