Yeah, shame Richard couldn't get past Murray. Gasquet's fitness can really let him down at times. Obviously I'm pulling for Federer to win it, but I think Rafa will, pretty comfortably.

I've just been getting into this show the last couple of weeks after my brother gave me the first 13 episodes. I'm through about 10 or 11 I think. Its enjoyable, I love musical theatre so the music is cool. Funny characters as well. Good show.

LOL, it won't come here. We only get the mega-shows, the level of demand for Wicked up here would not be enough to sustain the cost of the show, no way it comes here. We only get Phantom and the like really. I've been to Melbourne a couple of times to see it though, and I saw it in London a couple of years back, so I don't really mind.

Sounds tough mate. How limited is your movement? 3 stone - so that is around 20 kilos right? I know how tough it can be to shift excess weight. At the end of 2007 I hit 130kgs. I am almost 2 metres tall but it was still a LOT of excess weight. I'm down at just over 100 now, but that first 6 months was easily the toughest stuff I have ever lived through.

Have you been training much mate? Or just cutting back on the food intake?

Loved this movie. Maybe my favourite of last year.

Tough luck for Fulham. Got up early to watch the game, pretty decent until extra time when Fulham just ran out of legs. Still, a great effort to make it that far in the competition with such a small squad.

Read another chapter of The Count of Monte Cristo last night.

I'm yet to read that one. Its on my list, however, like you, I had no burning desire to read it, despite how much I enjoyed the Crimson Petal.

Unfortunately boxing is full of very greedy people and he was making millions for some of them.

Its pretty horrible. WBC Lightweight champion Edwin Valero murdered his 24 year old wife on Monday before committing suicide in his jail cell. They had two children together. Valero has a history of mental and substance abuse problems. They were well publicised and everyone was calling for him to be taken out of the sport and given professional help. Instead he was allowed to spiral out of control and now an innocent woman has lost her life and two young children both their parents.

Just horrible. The worst thing is a lot of people saw all this stuff coming. All the people around Valero including his promoter and doctors failed him and more importantly his innocent wife and children.

Fair enough. I would say Wigan are a lower midtable side though. Maybe Newcastle are comparable to them, I don't know. Still, I think with that squad they would be battling relegation again next season. Obviously they will pick up a few though.

I know there are one or two guys who follow boxing on here. Has anyone been keeping up to date with the Edwin Valero situation? Horrible stuff.
