    Your sports

What sports do you do personally? I'm a second dan black belt in judo, blue belt in Taekwondo and Yellow belt in Karate. But I mostly focus on karate as I've achieved so much in it already. I train with the central region karate squad (a kata squad).
  3. Well when I go away I usually just sit there and read on the plane, I finished New Moon on the way to Egypt. But the only ones I have just sat there and read were either very short or the Harry Potter books.
  4. I used to just use pieces of paper but now I have a Harry Potter one, I got it on the release of Deathly Hallows, which goes from every signle book.
  5. My all time favourite tv program, The Tribe, was considered sci-fi but it doesent really fit into the standard sci-fi genre. I generally just watch Doctor who but I got up to series three on Heroes.

The bruises and pain are all worth it in the end =]. I've never heard of that style must be pretty rare. And yeah the site is pretty addictive I'm already taking to coming on here all the time.

  7. Ooo I read this book for a challenge (I did the reading challenge between local schools for three years, we had to stop after three because its our exam time.) I really enjoyed the book, at the start I found it a little dry but when I got into it I found that it was excellent. I would reccomend it to anyone its a very nice read.

Oooo XD what style of karate do you do?

  9. I'm still at school now but in the previous years of High School we read Skellig and Private Peaceful. Now at GCSE level we had to read Great Expectations, which is one of the wost books I have ever read, where we had to do a piece of coursework on it, How I managed to get two A's on it without finishing the book I will never know. We have another piece of coursework to do on Romeo and Juliet, we did a performance on this so it wasent too bad, and for our Litrature exam we have to read Lord of the Flies. Which again is a truly awful book I mean how ful of yourself must you be to write a whole novel based on allegorys. I just don't understand why the GCSE reading list is so bad!
  10. I've read them and their pretty cool looking forward to the next one but 4 month gap is just annoying. Thanks for posting this on here otherwise I wouldnt have known when the next book was coming out.
  11. I havent actually seen these books anywhere (probably because I live in a stupidly small town where they stock hardly any books) but they do look really good next time I order books of amazon I'm going to buy these definatly they look very intresting. I liked Twilight a lot until the whole hype got on my nerves but I will definatly get it thanks for posting it up on here =]
  12. After reading it on here I ordered it online (so thanks for putting the reccomendation up *hugggles*) it wasent to my liking the story line was very food but a few little bits in it didn't seem to fit in to me and also But apart from that its quite a good book.
  13. A lot of people just say 'Why read it when you can just watch the movie' but quite a few people do buy their books online I've taken to getting mine of Amazon as I can save about
  14. I've never really liked these books I got the first one out of the libary a few years ago and couldnt really get into it. I might try again though as I'm a little older now I might enjoy it more.
  15. Argh I love these books my favourite was will Apart from Will I liked Penelope, but hers and Henry's . When is the next book coming out and whats it called?
  16. The story line was very good, it got a bit dry in some parts but overall it was a nice read.
  17. Harry Potter was in fact the first book I ever read on my own and the book that got me into reading. For that fact its my favourite book and really is worth reading. I've also made many of my friends read them most of which I have never read a book before and they have absolutly loved them.
  18. I've just started reading specials but the other two were okay. The first one, Uglies, was absolutly brilliant I couldnt put it down but the second one, Pretties, I struggled to read, the end picked up again so I'm reading this one just to see what happens but they weren't really for me.
  19. I read it just before going to watch the film (I hate watching a movie then reading the book). I found it okay I wouldnt go and read the next ones but what I liked about it most was that it was funny.
  20. Generally I love this genre of book but I absolutly hated Artimus Fowl, I had to read it for a school book challenge and I found it very hard to finish. I think perhaps its the style of writing I don't like I've read other books written by him (mister monday) and I found that I didn't enjoy them either.

  22. Okay only taking this experience from the people I know I don't think many people do read anymore, there main saying is 'Its better to wait for the movie'. But saying that a lot of my friends do read. My boufriends a big reader but a lot of my friends are little readers you know reading books every now and again. I think generally not to be steotypical but its the more intelligent people who read. But the school do make us read books and write reviews on them but not many people do that. I of course participate =]
