  1. Cheryl is very pretty! Ashley Cole is an absolute jerk, I think Cheryl deserves more, I do not know much about her and generally do not believe much from tv shows and newspapers, but she seems like a nicer person than him.
  2. For a while due to money and various issues that happened in my life, I have not really spent much at all, but when I have the opportunity, and when I used to work, it was probably around
  3. Probably sausage rolls and meat and potato pies, they are fattening, but a little fat is okay and it is also a guilty pleasure because of the damned crumbs that I seem to have a rage disease from!
  4. I think that Edward Scissorhands has a beautiful ending, it's so evocative.
  5. Oh they all look good on the packaging... it's like if you go into a McDonalds and on the billboard thing you see a glorious three foot tall cheeseburger filled with all sorts of goodness, you open the package and it's like a squashed sandwich that a hurried mum has put together and absolutely launched into the too small plastic sarnie box for their kid whilst running ten minutes late for the school speed run.
  6. I don't have any particular complaints about the ending of the story, I think it could have been handled different and hence been more effective but then again it's not my baby. I more have a problem with the epilogue, it was really difficult to read and fairly pointless to include in my opinion, but I adore the series and Rowling has a fantastic eye for detail in a story and in people, so I don't mind so much.
  7. Biscuits because i'm worth it!
  8. Hell Awaits - Slayer
  9. Don't be jealous, I didn't have chippy because I didn't want to go out again because i've walked about four miles today and my lips are so sore from the freezing weather, so I had cheese and bacon lattice and potato bites!
  10. I read about ten pages of Northanger Abbey on the way to town and then I went off on a wander in the forest this afternoon so sat in a field reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and watched the clouds
  11. Welcome, do stick around!
  12. I am thinking chippy tonight, i've cooked hard this week!
  13. A Tout Le Monde - Megadeth
  14. I don't need to go shopping yet, I have to limit myself until my food starts turning over the three quarters empty mark otherwise I end up getting my shopping needs mixed up and buy either too much or too little, it is a fine art!
  15. I am having moar cereal! I got a MASSIVE box of Cheerio's for

Well Babel is doing a great job so we shouldn't mind too much
  17. It is a good idea, but not executed brilliantly, which makes it all the more irritating, i'd rather it be a boring idea and executed badly so I don't feel so disappointed

I suppose we have to feel a little sympathy Liverpool's striking options after El Nino are pretty poor. People complain that we have Michael Owen on the bench after the first choice, but it doesn't look bad compared to other premier teams, i think Owen would get in any other premier league team's starting line up (apart from Chelsea's) when he is on a run of playing, i'm surprised Benitez didn't go for him.
  19. I agree with a lot of your post. I understand King's philosophy of 'the journey is the point of the story' of course, and I can even let him off for a couple of bad endings to great stories he has done, you need to give a good story the ending it deserves. I came to that conclusion of how the novel was 'sold' to the readers as the dome being the actual problem and intriguing centre of the issue. This is why I was so interested in this particular novel, now if the anarchy and plot weaving around (or under if you will) this dome actually had a central or a strong link to the concept of the novel, then I would be more forgiving and understanding, but I do not like the whole Rennie plot at all and I think it is quite lazy writing in a lot of places. I do not see that very much at all with King, but I do feel it is so under-par in so many places. I feel for none of the characters because there is very little standing out from any of them at all for me. He has used kids again to advance particular plot points but I honestly care very little for them, nothing is fleshed out enough for me. There was so much room for expansion (and judging by the size of the book you would think expansion was a major part of it all ) with a plot like that but it seems like Steve has completely dodged the whole attraction of the story that the reader wanted to read about!
