  1. Yeah i have moments like that, i think you just have to try and get into a book even if you don't feel like it, and more often than not it's enjoyable xD

  2. Actually i've been reading quite a bit lately! Just picking random books from wherever i see them haha.

  3. Oh cool. I might nip out to the library later, it depends how far i get with some work. Have you been reading much lately?

  4. I've been listening to music, getting on with some of my uni notes and just had food. So, quite a productive day! How about you?

  5. Wow your background is very pink! And LOL HAPICAT =^.^= how are you today?

  6. I actually bought this book years ago, and i got very bored so didn't give it much of a chance. I may pick it up again sometime.
  7. I love to read every one more or less, it helps me settle into the book and the atmosphere and such if that makes sense.
  8. right now i am having turkey dinosaurs, chopped potatoes and spaghetti hoops. Tonight, maybe some chicken and something, not sure yet!
  9. Does Keanu Reeves voice, face expressions or overall acting ability ever change lmao? He seems so 'wooden'! It kinda fits in The Matrix though.
  10. That's awesome
  11. Oh i agree. 'Angels and Demons' is far superior imo. I find DVC well-written though there is too much dialogue and fact spewing, sure it's all interesting, but it doesn't move well as a 'story'. I read it years ago and found it entertaining.

  12. Yay, a couple of us here love 'Salem's Lot' so i'm sure you'll be able to discuss it xD I personally love The Shining too. Has anyone read 'Just After Sunset' yet? It's a collection of short stories. I enjoyed a lot from 'Nightmares and Dreamscapes' such as i think it was Dolan's Cadillac.
  13. I was going to carry on with a fantasy novel i've been reading called 'The Graveyard Shift' but i got sidetracked when i randomly opened my massive hardback copy of 'The Da Vinci Code' lmao!

  14. Yeah i really would like to see a sequel actually, which is a tribute to King and the novel though he doesn't do sequels as such so i'm sure we won't get one for Cell, kinda annoying though >:l
  15. I need to get a move on with my reading! Been too busy thinking WHAT to read haha!

  16. ahaha! No, no. Potato is ze hero. The solution to all life's problems i'm sure you will agree.

  17. Hey, welcome to the forum!
  18. Welcome!
  19. I really am determined to make cakes soon! I hope to have sweet potatoes, broccoli and chicken tonight.
  20. Me too, obviously the fact that Ledger died generated an even higher amount of publicity and intrigue around the film, though i just watched it on it's own merit. Sure there will be a lot of people praising it just because he is not with us any longer, which i think is great because it is a fantastic piece of work anyway, but imo it's one of the best performances i've ever seen in a film, regardless of whether the actor is alive or not. In the cinema, it's just captivating. He draws you in every scene and you just want to watch more to see how much more crazy or scary this messed up guy can get. It's full of dark humour too, he created such an interesting and clever character and shows his versatility as an actor, no one would have thought he could play that role.
  21. Hello Katherine!
  22. I found it a really quick and flowing read. I love the beginning how it all starts, it's a great image, i can still remember the exact scene now and i've only read it once. The ending was a little disappointing imo but i did enjoy the overall vibe of the book. I think it's just a good King novel though, definitely not one of his best.
  23. Evening. I came to tell you one thing. And one thing only. There is no spoon. But. There is a fork. You can make mash with a fork. But. A masher is more appropriate. That is all. o_o

  24. When i saw 15 books, i literally went x_x LOL! I am very jealous. Though i can't complain i have like an ocean of literature waiting to be read within my room anyway. xD

Did you have a good day? My weekend was okay i guess. Didn't really do much, i am doing a lot of uni work today and hope to make progress with my TBR mountain. Hmm... i wonder what the birthday money shall be spent on. I think i can guess!

  25. wow!! I love nature parks and the like, that would have been so awesome! I hope you get some reading done! I really have to do some uni work as i didn't do much over the weekend eek >_< But, i wasn't too well, so i have a reason. I also hope to steam ahead with my TBR pile xD
