  1. I agree with Charm, Bitten is good and reels you in, but Stolen grabs you and you're hooked! Hope you come to enjoy them as much as me Shin
  2. Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - Suzanna Clarke
  3. I really liked Sebastian Faulks new James Bond book, Devil May Care, and I've just seen a news item saying Jeffrey Deaver has been commissioned to write the next Bond story. His Bond story will be set in the present day, unlike Faulks installment, set in 1967. I've never read any Deaver, although I know there are a lot of fans on the forum, so I'll be keen to read his take on Bond due out next May.
  4. The English translation is A Woman's Life. I've read and enjoyed Bel-Ami by this author recently, so I'll look out for this one too
  5. Wow, US maths must be different to British - I was always taught 1/2 price meant 50% off! Trust those canny Americans to find a way to supersize a discount Anyway ... still reading Dead Witch Walking, taking longer than usual, but haven't had too much time for reading over the last couple of days
  6. Three awards for the Twilight films and actors, with New Moon winning Best Fantasy and Best Performance for Mr Pattinson, plus Eclipse won the Most Anticipated Film of the Summer!
  7. Hello!
  8. Don't know if anyone's watching, but they've just announced on the National Movie Awards on ITV1 that they've got a "world exclusive" for Eclipse fans, and as they're showing trailers for other upcoming films, I can only assume they've got a new clip.
  9. Dreams Come True (Stand Up And Take It) - Lone Justice
  10. I think my absolute favourite would have to be Strictly Ballroom, but as that's my favourite ever film, I guess that's a no brainer. I also love the Amelie, When Harry Met Sally and The Hours soundtracks - all perfect for listening to while reading. Grease and The Blues Brothers are my favourite sing along soundtracks, and French Kiss is fabulous for summer driving. I'd go along with the Twilight soundtracks too, which never seem too far from my car CD player at the moment.
  11. Sauna. Cereal or toast?

  15. Can't believe it - my library doesn't have any of her books! I'm going to have to add them to my wishlist for when I have some spending money
  16. Blue Light Red Light (Someone's There) - Harry Connick, Jr.
