I read the Sookie Stackhouse series with trepidation because apart from Twilight, I'd never read any supernatural/fantasy type books, but after the endless recommendations on here, I loved them. I have to say though, that I started the Women of the Otherworld after Sookie with even more trepidation, but they surpassed the Sookie books for me, and Kelley Armstrong is one of my favourite authors now. I really hope you get hooked, but even if you're not sure by the end of Bitten, I hope you give Stolen a chance as well, because the series really does get better. Happy reading!
