They must be suffering from calorie deficiency now - no way a bunch of bananas and some energy bars can get you through 8 and a quarter hours of solid tennis.

Did you hear earlier? If they finish tonight, the winner will have to play their next game tomorrow - third game on the same court! I think I'd want to rest for a week after playing a match this long

Anyone watching the tennis? Current match on BBC Two - Mahut v Isner. Final set currently stands at 33-34, been playing for just short of 7 hours. Officially the longest game of tennis in history!

Well, that was the quickest drive home from work ever! Everyone watching the England game, I got home in twenty minutes, and ended up watching nearly all the second half anyway, without having to take a half day off work

How far away is Bath from you, pickle? If it's a reasonable day trip, there are a couple of great independent bookshops there - Mr B's Book Emporium and Topping & Co, and there's a Waterstone's to boot! They're all within a couple of minutes walking distance of each other as well. -
That sounds fantastic, Echo. I love travel writing, and I'm always on the lookout for something new - this one sounds like a book both me and my BF would enjoy, and I've added it to my wishlist.
