  1. All I had to do was start reading Harry Potter again... mojo all of a sudden reappeared:D
  2. ^^ Definitely! Second book is still not a favorite. I of course loved it but as far as comparing with the other books it remains the one I like least.
  3. I enjoyed reading the first Harry Potter book so much... it's been quite some time since I've last read it and I had forgotten some of the details. On to the next one now
  4. Happy Birthday! :)

    Happy Birthday! :)

  6. Just finished "The Most Beautiful Woman in Town" by Charles Bukowski. It was definitely different than what I usually read but the stories felt honest and real and distrubing at times too. I need to read more by Bukowski. Starting Harry Potter now, need to finish the books before the movie comes out.
  7. Same here! I leave on the 10th
  8. Awesome thread! Been reading more than you could have imagined? Or has your mojo deserted you? Unfortunately I lost my mojo a while back... I've been reading way less than I had intended. Although I'm hoping summer holiday will help! Found any new favourites? Been disappointed by others? I absolutely loved The Book Thief! I was totally disappointed by the Twilight series (please don't kill me!!!), it didn't live up to my expectations especially after hearing about for so long before reading it. Been sticking to your reading challenges? Or pushed them to the side in the name of being spontaneous? My only challenge was to read a classic book per months and besides May I think I did ok with that. I am pretty spontaneous though with the books I read. Bought more books than you've read? Always happens! Been spending too much time at BCF when you could otherwise be making inroads into your TBR pile? And if so, are you going to do anything about it? I actually haven't been here in a while but now that exams aren't taking up all my time I'm back! So I'll definitely spend too much time here, it's happened before! And finally, where do you hope your reading will take you in the next 6 months? Hopefully I'll get my mojo back and read way more. It's pathetic how little I've been reading besides textbooks.
  9. Good luck with your goal! I was aiming for 50 this year but I've been really slow and I don't know if I'll make it. Hopefully the summer holiday will help!
  10. I read the synopsis and then a couple of sentences from a random page.
  11. I'm so slow these days! My life has been taken over by all the exams and school and lots of laziness Anyway, I have finally finished The Book Thief and I don't have the words to describe how much I liked it. There were some parts of the books so intense and so well written. Excellent book!
  12. Definitely need to check this out
  13. Awesome! I just started re-watching season 1 earlier today. It's making my study breaks very interesting!
  14. But Jared is awesome too He needs a hug too! It's a good thing everyone here seems to favor Jensen, Jared's all mine!
  15. I'm enjoying it very much yes As always another good recommendation I got here
  16. My mojo is better I am almost done with The Book Thief, happy!!!
  17. I read this a while back and I absolutely loved it
  18. I didn't get any cookies... makes me sad I really like cookies...
  19. Yes exactly. I find it highly unfair
  20. Thanks! I started reading it earlier and I like it so far a lot
  21. Finished The Bell Jar finally and liked it a lot even though I struggled for weeks with it. Next on the list is "The Book Thief". I saw so many talking about it here that I bought it last week
  22. Sadly no a lot... I've been really busy and I've been struggling with staying focused on reading. I'm hoping it's changing soon! Nice too see you around the boards again
  23. I think just talking about it helped I finished the book... made myself stay in bed and read till I was done I enjoyed the book even with the struggle and now I need to decide on something new... that will take me less! Hopefully it's a sign my mojo is returning
  24. Or you remember about a story you read ages ago and it was really interesting... so it warrants a reread. But by the time you find that one you also find another 10 that should be read Fanfiction is evil!
  25. I keep saying I will but I feel guilty about not finishing the book I think it would be a very good choice to simply switch and finish it another time though
