  1. The other Dexter books came today, must say RM did an impressive job delivering them all so fast! I finished the other book I was reading, so will be starting the first Dexter today! :D

  2. Ohh thank you so much! :D I can't wait to get started on them :D

  3. Hey Mac, just dropped by to say I think you'd really like Erica Spindler, the books are definitely your kind of thing! In particular her books, Copycat, and See Jane Die are fantastic, but I've never disliked any of her books, they're all great! :D

  4. The books are here safe and sound, can you believe they got here so fast? :D Thank you so much anyway, I can't wait to read them! Oh, I posted the Erica Spindler to you earlier, so should hopefully be with you on Thursday, enjoy! :D

  5. Oh thank you, I wasn't expecting that! That's really kind of you both!:friends0:

  6. I will do, thank you so much :D I'll post yours out tomorrow, second class too, so it'll hopefully get to you before the end of the week :D:friends0:

  7. Hi :D It's called Bone Cold by Erica Spindler, she's a great author, I'd recommend See Jane Die and Copycat by her too :D Take care x

  8. Wow, riding sounds painful! I've always wanted to try, we have a horses stable next to us that give lessons I think, so I have no excuse, but I must admit, I'm a bit scared to try, they look so intimidating! But they're lovely at the common, you can go up and stroke them and they don't mind at all :D I know what you mean about the Sookie books, I'm glad I was the first person to get them, because I managed to whizz through them pretty quick, I think you'll really enjoy the rest of the series though, it's really good. I want the books, but like you say, there's 9 and it'll cost a fortune to get them all, so I think I'll wait a while, especially as they're releasing new covers here soon. I've PM'd you about the books, and thank you for the hugs :friends0:

  9. Hey Mac, the weather's not great here either, looks like it's going to rain at any moment, so I think I'll be snuggling up with a book too! I'm looking forward to dinner, my boyfriend is making a yummy spicy chicken stirfry :D I'll keep my eyes open for Christopher Fowler, thanks for the recommendation! Have a great weekend! :friends0:

  10. I think I'm going to start Hannibal as soon as I finish doing my review books, I can't wait to read them as I love the films. Same goes for Dexter, I really like the series, is it similar to the books? I'm definitely going to get them at some point, I think they're definitely my kind of thing and I'm sure I'd love them. I really want to get the Deaver series that starts with The Bone Collector, I've wanted to read them since I watched the film, but seeing you all talk about them has just made me want them even more! This forum really is terrible for my bank account :D Is there anything you're looking forward to reading or buying atm? How is Kookie enjoying Twilight? :D x (sorry it's over 2 posts, it was too long for one!)

  11. Ohh I love picnics too, we have a common about 5 mins from our house, there are horses that roam free on it, and there are football nets, so we can go eat and Michael can play football while I sit and read or watch the horses, it's really nice :D Your house sounds lovely, I'd love to see pictures of it when it's done! And yay for new beds, I bought my first ever proper bed since moving out of home a few months back, I loved choosing it, it has a slanted headboard so it's perfect for reading in bed :D I hope you carry on reading the series, but if you decide not to read them all, you should get Stolen, it's the third Elena one and it's really good. I haven't started Hannibal/Flesh & Blood yet, my reading mojo has gone really down hill since I finished Sookie, I think I enjoyed them too much!

  12. Hey :D I'm good thanks, hows everything going with the new house? Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned, I don't have anything set yet, might go to the common for a picnic if it's nice out tomorrow, so we'll see :D I'm sooo glad you're enjoying Stolen, I really liked it too, Broken is even better (imo), will you read the whole series you think? I'm still reading Running With Scissors, having a little reading slump atm, I think it's the heat! Hoping to get it done so I can read a new Erica Spindler I bought the other day :D Take care!

  13. Hey Charm :D How are you doing today? Looking forward to the weekend? Hope you're well! x

  14. Heyyy :D How are you doing today? Looking forward to the weekend? I got another Michael Marshall book today, The Intruders, looks really good :D Hope you're well x

  15. Thank you! Your profile is gorgeous too :D

  16. It was good fun :D Hope you're not feeling the vodka too much today!

  17. Yay, glad you liked the recommendation, I thought of you when I was reading it :D I hope you enjoy it, I'm nearly at the end now and can't wait to see how it will all turn out! Things are good thanks, I'm nearly over the flu I've had which has been a nightmare, so I'm happy about that! How are things going with you?

  18. I haven't actually read the Dexter books, but I have been meaning too since I first started watching the TV show. I've seen the thread on here about them though and how much you all love them so I definitely should get them soon, trouble is I've run out of room to store TBR books :irked: so until I manage to read through a couple and shift them off the shelf I'm kinda having to restrain myself with buying new ones :( But I'm meant to be saving to go see my family in November so I'll be putting the money I usually spend on books towards that I suppose  haha.

Glad to hear the house is coming along and a day of baking sounds fun :D Shame about all the washing up at the end though! That's the only thing I hate about baking

  19. Thanks, I'm feeling a bit better now, the body ache is gone, so it's just mainly the incredibly sore throat :( I hate having sore throats! But I'm going to get some ice cream soon, so hopefully that'll help a bit. And I know what you mean about the reading  I didn't read that much in April though! You'll really enjoy the Sookie books, they're so good, as soon as I finish one I can't wait to start the next! Although the next 3 didn't come in the post today so I'm sad because I have to read something else over the weekend  How are you doing anyway? The new house treating you well? :)
  20. I actually haven't! I didn't even know he had other books/a series out, it was an impulse pick up at Asda so I don't actually know much about it, but I thought it looked good! I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm sure I will now we seem to have similar tastes when it comes to this genre! :D

  21. I think so too Paula :D

  22. Thank you :friends0: I think he's great too, but my BF says it's 'not art' and that 'anyone could draw that rubbish', well i say :tong: to him! I love it though, so I don't really care what he thinks hehe

  23. Not at all! I just got distracted looking at the new Kurt Halsey paintings  But I completely agree, I'm my own worst enemy too, just playing things over and over in my mind and stressing myself out, it's a nightmare! I've been trying just to think to myself, it'll be embarrassing and painful for a little while, but then you'll never see that nurse/doctor again, and it's kind of working for now. Of course on Tuesday morning I'll be crapping myself about it all, but it's normal I suppose when you have to do things you really detest eh? Thank you for the support, it helps and it's greatly appreciated! I've also seen the Wolverine trailer, and hubba hubba! I really want to go and watch it but think I'll leave it a few weeks because the cinemas will be packed for a little while yet and I hate crowds lol. I think I will fly through Sookie too, I'm curious to see how they will compare to the show, plus I live the way Charlaine Harris writes, it's so easy to read :D

  24. Thanks Paula, trying not too get too worked up but you know how these things go  I'm just trying to think to myself it's only half an hour and then it's over with, and then I can hibernate for the week with Sookie  Thanks for sending them hun, will really enjoy them! :friends0:
