  1. I hope so!!!
  2. Ahaha you read my ramble already Makes me happy that people read my blog. And yes, Nellie, I do like these books rather a lot. Its because I read them when I was 15 and I was just the right age then!! And the repetition - it didn't bother me at all. It was a case of 'yay we got out, oh we forgot something, and oh no they're coming after us, we have to go back/get dragged back/whatever.' Something like that. I thought it was quite funny really, especially Eleanor in those situations. It depends how much you love the book up to that point.
  3. ME OH MY GOD ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING NICI SAYS! LISTEN TO ME AND MICHELLE!!!! Sorry. That series is one of my all time favourite series EVAR, and I haven't even read the third one yet. Focus on Dustfinger!!! Focus on him, and you'll HAVE to love it. For me, the story is really all about him. Its a bit tedious in parts, and theres a bit of repition, but give it a fair chance, its so much better than half the rubbish out there!! I wrote a review on my blog, here Its detailed, but not spoilerish. You can always just read the general ramble, thats how my blogs are designed, for a general review, read the general ramble. For my humble opinions, read the in-depth one.
  4. Mine isn't!! *nom nom nom*
  5. Yeah, well I was lucky. I was told by my friend's girlfriend to read them, and by my friend that if I actually liked them he wouldn't talk to me anymore So I knew they weren't going to be great. They're very easy and light (most of the time) but theres just such a big world and such great characters that need so much more development!
  6. Your Uni pile still kicks my Uni pile's behind
  7. YUSS!! Welcome to my world baby!! It sucks, right!?!?! Sadly, I love it all the same. I acknowledge everything you just said and I endorse it. But I just loved its POTENTIAL so much, that I love the books. The series gets worse and worse - even I thought Twilight wasn't too bad. By the time you get to Breaking Dawn you'll be in tears - and not in a good way. Still, I plowed on with it, and much as I hate it, I loved it overall

  9. Thanks ^^ :friends0: They're quite rare though, so I should be alright. And I has my big bro to mind me ^^ He bought me ice cream!

I didn't want to learn I taught myself with online sheet music for lead (which is the only kind I can read) and then altering it by ear as I thought necessary. I love playing Knocking On Heaven's Door - its really easy, but everyone knows it so it impresses people who don't know a thing about guitar!
  11. Sorry. I'm eating dry crackers and stale bread. You're not missing a thing.

I got checked years ago, but the doctor said it was a phase. As I said in the thread, I think its linked to a lack of oxegen/overheating (shower) caused by breathing problems. But the doctors also say I haven't asthma or anything, and won't give me a preventative. I can't afford to keep buying inhalers as I need them, so I just have to do without.

I can't play acoustic I can't even play rhythm I wouldn't know a chord if the appropriate strings snapped off and hit me in the face. BUT I can play the lead sections of most of my favourite Guns N Roses songs Love Slash, so I learned to play some of his solos
  13. Awwwhhh thank you! It is really terrible, it lasted about 3-4 minutes which is a long time when your vision is so impaired you lose balance  I get a bit panicky coz I start thinking, 'what if it never stops!!!' but yeah.

Was worse the last two times it happened: (both times I actually blacked out) once going down a flight of outdoor concrete stairs, and smacked my head on the steps. Another time in the shower - came to lying under the water flow, choking on it :( Very scary.

I'm feeling much better now though! Made WAY too much pasta, but at least some of its in my tummy-box!

  15. I made my pasta with melted cheese and spicy tomato sauce. I made too much though.. groo
  16. I must check my copy!! I hope its an unchanged one
  17. They're my two favs too!! I forgot to buy these in the shop tho. Grr.
  18. I was going to have pasta with melted cheese and a tomato sauce (proper eatings!) but then I nearly blacked out in the shop and I don't feel up to cooking now
  19. They're lovely, Kookie. Tell yer ma I said to buy you a box (Don't kill me Charm! )
  20. Alphabetically appeals to me by nature, but colour co-ordination has always been something I'm picky about in everything, so I'm gonna give it a go.
  21. I like the size and colour idea, I think I might give that a go. With only 35 books in college with me, it's not like they're going to go missing!
  22. Same as. Or if I'm eating something while eating - doesn't happen often but if I'm in a hurry and I want to get some reading done. *food* *tea* *page* *food*, yada. I love all old books too, though unfortunately I can't afford any decent ones. There was a first edition Winnie The Pooh (not THAT old, but in very good condition, and one of my favourite books) on ebay, but I couldn't afford it It was nice even to see it though. All the original sketches that have been reprinted so many times over the years.
  23. I thought everybody did this!! I can't agree on the spine thing though. I'd rather a slightly creased back cover, or slightly creased pages. Front cover and spine need to be GOOD! Unless they're second hand. I like old second hand books, theres a lovely 'vintage' feel to them
  24. Rice Infusions. I don't mind them, actually.
