  1. They took everything a bit too far. That's what I loved about it. The whole movie is like a caricature of the book
  2. Teh = the. Jasper is the sex. The is a.k.a 'teh' among computer nerds, as it's a misspelling associated with incoherent little idiots typing too quickly, or something.
  3. Maybe I'm imagining it. I do that. I get told I read WAY too much into the characterisation in Sweeney Todd.
  4. Uh hello, it's *my* job to diss it all the time! But I love the movie. The soundtrack is amazing.
  5. Well I didn't expect much better outta the movie. I think people are too harsh on Kristen though, I think she did well, and I think she and Rob went well together. Alice was pretty badly done in that scene alright though Lex. And the baseball scene is epic. I mean, it saves the entire movie. It's awesome.
  6. LMAO yeah. I do love the initial conversation in Biology II though. 'Hello, I'm Edward Cullen.' I always think of Meyer's description of his voice as being velvety, and how amazingly accurate Rob's voice is lmao. I'm so sad.
  7. I started reading 3 weeks prior to movie. Twilight - 1.5 New Moon - 1 Eclipse - 1 Breaking Dawn - 1 I had heard a little about them, but it was actually the movie trailer that made me go read them. I also still adore the movie, I don't care what anyone says, as such movies go, it's great.
  8. I loved the Children Of Cherry Tree Farm - the one with the wild man. That was awesome. I wanted to go live in the wild after I read that.
  9. Jasper is 'teh sex', as those young'un computer nerds says. Carlisle is also rather dishy.
  10. I don't even like orange juice and I've been drinking loads, and mum has some vitimin tablet things she gave me last week. I'm unbelieveably stressed at the moment as well though, I have a 3000 word paper, a presentation and another essay due in just over a week, and I'm way behind because I've been sick.

I'm sure it'll be grand though! Thanks :D

  11. I'm just gonna have some Avonmore soup I think, yum.
  12. Hi Michelle,

I'm still not better! It's crazy! I think it's just my low immune system, there's both colds and viruses going around, and I've gotten both. I'm much better than I was, but I have a really bad chesty cough now. :(

  13. Hey...

Haven't noticed many posts by you lately, so I just said I'd drop by.

    Hope everything's okay :)

    Roxi.

  14. Yeah I agree, I virtually never buy short books for this reason. It makes no sense, it OBVIOUSLY costs less to print shorter books (less paper and ink!) so why charge as much, or more? Books being short doesn't put me off reading them, but expense does.
  15. Oh woooooooooooooooow!! I MUST read this! I love the subject matter. A Certain Slant Of Light was the first book I read this year, it's brilliant!
  16. I've never read a book shorter than 100 - pages, but I always find books like Of Mice And Men etc., while extremely good, to be unsatisfactorily short. But I've never even seen a book shorter than 100 pages (not including my alphabet books as a child.) Can anybody recommend me some?
  17. Rachel McAdams is too 'pretty' to be Clare I think. I always got the impression Clare had a very understated beauty, emphasised by her red hair. Then again, when they couldn't even be bothered to pay attention to the one physical feature about her mentioned time and time again, why should I be surprised?
  18. I agree! I used to love Cheerios, but the original ones just aren't as nice anymore. I go through phases with the honey nut ones, which are lovely but as I generally don't like cereal they don't get eaten much.
  19. Awh thank you. :)

I suspect being around my extremely ill mother has just made me sick all over again. :(

  20. I've never had a migraine, but I've had a headache on and off for the last two weeks due to being sick. I thought I was over it, but no. Tonight the coughing has started back, and my head is killing me.
  21. I had mash, carrots, chicken and ham courtesy of mah mummy. And enough chicken left over to make a sandwich later. It's nice being able to eat a huge meal without worrying about if I'm eating too much of my supplies!
  22. I did say hai on msn, but you're not there O_O

  23. I'm looking forward to reading your review about this, I'd never even heard of it!
  24. You're online, but not on msn!
