  1. That's a nice idea Chalie. Regarding urn / tins etc., we keep ours in a beautiful hand made wooden box, on top of which sits his favourite toy. When I look at the box and toy all I can do is smile.
  2. I haven't, but it is absolutely now on my wish list too!
  3. So sorry Chalie, but from the sound of it the absolute best decision for Honey. What a lovely lovely description of her, and what a gorgeous looking dog.
  4. I love Doctor Who, and it was Matt Smith's performance in 'The Eleventh Hour' that made me even look at the Nu Who. That story was exciting, funny and compelling, and the moment when he said to the Atraxi "Hello, I'm the Doctor" as he stepped through the image of 10 had me hooked. That young face able to convey such depth and age. Yowzer. It should be noted that I have since gone back and watched all of the series from Mr Ecclestone's tenure onward. Great stuff! I have enjoyed them all, each of these three doctors bringing something fab to the table - Nine's anger and angst, Ten's daftness and emotional wobbliness and Eleven's 'Mad man in a box'. I have enjoyed each episode, some more than others obviously but I enjoy the variety of characters and stories. Stand alone episode or part of an arc, I am able to enjoy any of them, sometimes being spoon fed a story and at other times being mentally challenged enough to make me feel like a complete nincompoop. Love 'em! And as regards the opening titles, I am enjoying this homage to the past, and get a nostalgic tingle as well as a new-episode-to-be-watched thrill. Geronimo!
  5. Neither have I. (water no, tea - maybe!) Never have I ever been inside St Paul's Cathedral in London.
  6. Yes, definitely - in fact 30 may be the new teenager!
  7. I so enjoyed reading your post there Emelee, and although I am sorry that you went through some tough times, I believe you are inspiring in your attitude and actions. Oh by the way I'm 46 this year.
  8. Neither have I. Never have I ever worn waders (those super long wellington boots with braces!).
  9. Almonds Milk shake or fruit squash?
  10. Neither have I. Never have I ever worn leopard skin print.
  11. I have (always badly). Never have I ever seen an otter in the wild.
  12. Rice Background music or silence?
  13. Happy Birthday Hayley. Have a lovely day. X

  14. Hello Poppyshake. Just popping by. X

  15. Thinking of you. X

  16. That just means that you have a dangerous undercurrent to you - more tiger than mouse. Strangely when I began reading that sentence I thought it was going to finish with how many people told you not to bother handing them in.
  17. I have just read this rather wonderful interview with Sir Terry Pratchett in The Guardian. With his comments about Science Fiction and bigotry I found myself nodding in agreement.
  18. Thank you Muggle Not. It truly feels like we will be stepping outside of our lives for a week. I cannot begin to express how much I am looking forward to doing this. Delight or disaster I know it will be such a great experience, and I will have one of my most favourite people alongside me (that's my husband by the way)!
  19. Chaliepud, I'm so sorry. Your mantra is completely right, however heart breaking it may be. Thinking of you and big hugs.
  20. Neither have I. Never have I ever made a boomerang come back.
  21. Jelly babies. Naughty but very nice.
  22. Thank u silly me. From a colleague who had forgotten her tray of eggs.
  23. From home to Lake Garda it will be about 950 miles. We have many many many stops planned along the way, but our first day will be the longest bit as we hope to get to the French / Swiss border by the end of that day. I cannot really believe it's happening - we don't usually have this kind of multi country trip! A number of things aligned themselves and doing this trip evolved itself in front of us. We are planning a combination of long car journeys there and back interspersed with lots of walking.
  24. We have the same problem Miss Mabel, but sadly no time to get out into our jungle for another few weeks. Well, in 10 days time hubby and I will be driving from the UK to Italy, via France and Switzerland. We will be spending two days driving to Lake Garda in Northern Italy, spending 3 days at a lakeside hotel, then taking a two day trip back home. We cannot wait. Husband loves driving in Europe, and we always have such fun on long car journeys together. The next ten days are super full for us with various appointments, and a trip away to the Midlands next weekend, so I am having to be (uncharacteristically for me) really organised. Heck, so long we remember passports, car and a Euro or two we'll be fine.
  25. Happy Birthday Eleonora! Have a wonderful day. X
