My music taste is quite eclectic. I listen to hip-hop (the good kind!), jazz, alternative, indie, soft rock, metal...a bit of everything, really. Not neccesarily my favourites but some artists/bands I've had on repeat lately: Natty, Muse, Keane, M.I.A., A Tribe Called Quest, The Saturdays, Luther Vandross, Kanye West, MGMT, The Libertines, Santogold, Beck, Liam Finn, Coldplay, Adele...

I don't know about books for complete beginners, I think you're better off going for a class for that but when you do start sewing I recommend the Reader's Digest Complete Guide To Sewing as a reference book. It's quite big and heavy but it's one of those books you'll always go back to if you keep sewing.

I finally gave in and read Twilight last week. I finished it in less than 2 days, so I definitely agree that it's addictive and a real page-turner. It's not as well written as Harry Potter though and the way people were talking about it made it sound like it is the next Harry Potter. I am in love with Edward Cullen, even if I do find Bella & Edward's age difference a bit odd haha.

By the time I had finished Shopaholic & Sister, Becky really annoyed me. She just seemed to be acting like a child all the time. I read Shopaholic & Baby anyway though, because I didn't want to leave the series unfinished. It wasn't a terrible read but Becky still annoyed me.

Has anyone every read any of his books? I know his daughter through an another message board and I remember her mentioning him, it's made me curious to find out what his work is like.

I loved Pillars of the Earth. I didn't think I'd get through such a huge book because my dad gave it to me just after I started reading "grown-up" books so I put it off for a few years but I read it when I was 15 and I could not put it down. I understand it must be frustrating though for those of you who know the history of the period but even so, I think it's a great book. I have World Without End but I think it was made on recycled paper or something because the pages seem so fragile, I'm afraid to rip them! I'm going to re-read Pillars of the Earth before I start it though seeing as it's been a couple of years.

Hand-me-downs, charity shops, car boots, 2nd hand book shops...I also just joined the library but they have a limited selection of English books and I'm not a fan of reading books that have been translated into Spanish. My favourite 2nd hand book shop lets you give back the books you've bought your take in your own books and they give you credit for them. I share an account there with my parents and I don't think we've actually payed for a book in about 3 years because of the amount of credit we have. I rarely buy brand new books anymore because I don't have a job and I can't expect my parents to keep buying me new books (although they do, occasionally) but when I do I usually use Amazon.

I'm currently reading Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer for the third time. That book holds a certain sentimental value to me because it was the first book my dad gave me to read when I announced I was getting bored of reading preteen books when I was about 12. I've re-read the Harry Potter series a few times too. I'm sure there are others but I can't think.

Ah, I get this alot. Especially at school. It's a shame, I understand not everyone likes the same things but alot of people do tend to dismiss reading without even giving it a go or after reading a book they found boring for school. There's something out there for everyone, I'm sure everyone can find at least one book they can enjoy. I don't mind much though, it's their loss not mine. I just don't appreciate it when people are so rude about it.

Mint chocolate chip is my absolutely favourite. I like Ben & Jerry's Phish Food too but they stopped selling it in Spain so I can only get it when I go back to England.

I love the Subway adverts with the talkling vegetables. The jalapeno one where he goes "Ooh mama, too hot, too spicy. Hot hot!" makes me crack up everytime. I also like the Gregg's adverts with Paddy McGuiness. I especially like the one where he gets his pastie, goes to the top of a hill in the car and says "Little bit of romance you and me are gonna experience now. Come 'ere!" and then takes a bite. Me and my parents were randomly saying "Come 'ere!" to each other for months after that.
