I really wanna read 'The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas' cause I really liked the film, but... I really liked 'The Engliah Patient' film and hated the book
-
I watched The English Patient film which I really enjoyed! So, I decided to get the book to read, and guess what... I hated it! I don't know why because I really loved the film, but I just really hated the book!

I remember reading a few sections of the diary at school several years back, but I can't really remember it. I definatly want to buy it now to read the book the whole way through, and also because i'm older, so it may have more emotional significance to me now than it did previously.

Really do! Its excellent

I got My Booky Wook by Russell Brand last Christmas and had read it by Boxing Day; I thought it was brilliant! In the summer, I was looking for a book to take on holiday, and I saw it at the back of my bookshelf, so it took it and read it, and id forgotten how brilliant it was! Im now reading it again- im sure I will finish it by the weekend

Last year at school, I read Spies by Micheal Frayn. I didn't think it was that good, and id give it about 4/10. It's quite weird actually because most of my class enjoyed Spies, whereas I didn't. But, this year, I really enjoy Regeneration, and most of the class don't!

A brilliant book for any fans of the wonderful Mr. Fry! It is concerned with his childhood, right until he is about to go university; highly recommended!

I am currently doing A-Level English Literature, and we are studying this book along with the play Journey's End for coursework. There are approxamitly 25 of us in the class, and only me, one othet person and my teacher actually enjoy the book! When I first read it, I thought it was incrediable, and I couldn't understand how the rest of the class disliked it! You really get to see into the characters minds; and the omniscient narrator allows you to be any of the characters you want when you're reading it. My favourite character is definatly Billy Prior, a character which Pat Barker impressively captures to pronounce his characters voice and moods. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, as I would definatly say it is one of the most impressive novels I have read in recently.
Have you ever read a book, then seen the movie...

Regeneration by Pat Barker-I really enjoyed the book and thought it was brilliant! The film was also good, but I felt they missed out too much from the book, so the film was really different! But the film is still worth a watch, and the book is definatly worth a read!
