  1. Hi, thank you, it took me ages to find something suitable and find out how to add it! I`m not technically minded at all!! you on the other hand are obviously a pro, you change so often - miss seeing those lips you know! I finished The Surgeon LATE last night, and I`ve started The Apprentice this morning, really enjoyed it, so glad I found this forum, or I still wouldn`t have heard of T.G. Are you still reading one of hers? think I`m as hooked as you now! I`ll be logging in at the library later to order the next one ready. Have a good day Charm, hope your weathers better than ours, it`s foul here! Take care.

  2. Hi, thanks for your message, welcome to the club yourself. I used to enjoy a horror story now & again, mainly Stephen King or a long time ago I was a fan of Dennis Wheatley, one thing this site is doing, is to make me think about trying different types of books (can`t think of the word I want) again, vary my reading more. Good to meet you.

  3. Hiya, yes it is a really good forum, it`s got a really good feel, if you know what I mean. Know what you mean about the reading time too, can`t believe how quickly the time goes once you log in. I`m sure we`ll sort ourselves out, so we get time to read & checkout BCF, at least I hope so!

  4. Hope you enjoy Dead Simple, it`s certainly easier reading than the one you`re finishing! Have a good weekend, take care.

  5. I always smile when I see your avatar, Alan Carr`s got something about him, he can make you laugh even when he`s not trying. I bet it was great meeting him, have you ever seen him perform live?

  6. I am so sorry to hear of your loss I can`t begin to imagine how you must feel, thinking of you and your family. :friends0:

  7. I bet those photo`s have got pride of place!

  8. I can imagine, it`s amazing how much we rely on the internet, I know I`d be climbing the walls without it! last time ours was down it was only off for an evening but every 5 minutes I was trying it to see if it was back on. Good job it doesn`t happen often!

  9. I hope I enjoy Les Mis. if not it was a total waste of money - mind you it looks good on the bookshelf anyway - makes me look intelligent I think......... I wish!

  10. I just noticed it`s nearly your 3 month anniversary of stopping smoking! Just wanted to say, well done and congratulations!!

  11. I lost my Dad in January and remember finding the messages a help, it reminded me that people are there and do care I think. I`m always around if you need anything, take care. xx

  12. I see you`re reading Jeffery. Have you read much by him? I think he`s the best, so many unexpected twists, he is the master! Enjoy.

  13. I think the shock of finding out it`s high when you feel your diet`s fairly good is the worst bit. Hope you`re feeling a little less anxious today and that you enjoy your weekend.

  14. I thought their idea was better, it was good though. I`m cheering on the men cause I like them a lot more than the women. x

  15. I was diagnosed about 6-7 years ago, when I was 47, the Dr wanted me on statins straight away, lowish dose at first and when that didn`t help he increased the dose. I have annual cholesterol tests, I did try not taking the statins a while back and my levels shot right up again. A couple of women at work (early 50`s) have been diagnosed too, 1`s on statins the other is trying to lower it herself with diet. Have they given you any advice re diet?

  16. I`d forgotten about the money back offer - I`ll remind him about that, I fancy the idea of an author in the family!

  17. I`m pleased to hear the little one is showing signs of progress, how wonderful for you and your family to have some more positive news to focus on. Try to get some rest yourself, I can imagine it`s not easy though. Thinking of you. :friends0:

  18. I`m pretty good thanks, :) I`m enjoying my easter holiday and as the weather`s been so gorgeous I`ve been tackling my rather neglected garden, hard work but strangely satisfying - although my back is screaming out for mercy!

  19. I`m sending your book off today, I hope I`ve chosen one that you`ll enjoy, I`ve just finished re-reading before I sent it to you, and I really it. I`ll keep my fingers crossed that you receive it before Thursday too. Happy reading.

  20. I`m so sorry about your Dad, it must have been awful watching him suffer so badly. Take care. :friends0:

  21. I`m so sorry to hear the sad news Janet, I`ll be thinking of you. x

  22. I`ve had the week off work (half term holiday) so I`ve read loads, but done very little else, thought I owed it to myself! Hope you`re taking it easy & following Drs. orders!! Take care & hope you`re back to good health very soon. xx

  23. I`ve literally only read the first page, so will let you know - I`m not expecting to be disappointed though, I`ll be starting it proper tomorrow.

  24. I`ve put The Last Witchfinder on my list all ready! Enjoy Jeffery and feel free to join the Deaverettes! Have a good evening yourself.

  25. I'll be thinking of you and your family tomorrow, :friends0: One step at a time eh? :friends0:
