  1. Just updated with September's reading
  2. Never Mind the Buzzcocks tonight.
  3. I'm actually not dreading it too much, just that it has seems to creep up upon me without me knowing. I just don't feel responsible enough yet to be 30. I don't feel much different to when I was 16, just a little bit wiser.
  4. Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England born & bread, although I spent two years in the North East England at uni. I adored it up there and would like to return one day.
  5. I'm Ok. Recovering from a bad day at work now and just slobbing out in my Pjs. My hubby is working tonight so I'm keeping myself entertained on here. It doesn't feel quite as only when you have online people to chat to.

  6. nothing so far.. I might have a curry ready meal that I have stashed away for cannot be bothered evenings:lurker:.
  7. Me & my husband went to that when we were dating. It must have been over 5 years ago now. Was it at the Science Museum? We were giving a boarding pass at the beginning stating the name of an actual person on board. At the end there was a list and you could see your fate. That really brought it home. The gentleman who was named on my husband pass survived only because he dressed as a women to get onto a lifeboat.
  8. Yeah, I like them. I've just read comments from others saying the same, so I say you made a good choice.

  9. welcome Zeta
  10. We have a Smoked Gammon joint tonight with Corn on the cob, peas and Homemade wedges. We also are doing pineapple & fried eggs. Yum.
  11. Pastel, your name is so much prettier I think. I just didn't have as good enough imagination to come up with anything else. lol

  12. I was on & off last night while watching the telly. lol

  13. The Knitting Circle - Ann Hood was the last one to start me off. Its about a knitting group who use knitting to counteract their grief. The Time Traveller Wife was the worst. It took me ages to get through it as I'd just turned into a sobbing wreck. My OH kept coming home to find me in bits. Its one of my favourites, but it just tore me apart reading it. I just don't know how the film will do it justice.
