  1. I only know Generation Dead of those three, but this one is very good! The second book of the series is even better.
  2. YAY for the Hunger Games trilogy All three books are really great and gripping.
  3. Which ones did you buy for her? I just love YA books
  4. Hello Emma, to the forum.
  5. I finished Dark Parties by Sara Grant last night and started The forest of hands and teeth by Carrie Ryan this morning.
  6. Hey Frankie, how are you? You're right, he's definately a keeper and the good thing is, he buys even more books for himself than I buy for myself and he likes to get one (or two, or three) for me too when he's out bookshopping I got The Slap at Waterstone's because I've read about it on the forum and they had a sticker on it, that said if you spent over 20 pounds, you get this book for only 0,99. I just couldn't resist I might take me a while to start reading it, as it's not high up my priority list.
  7. I got a few new books this past week: from lovely bf: Carrie Ryan > The forest of hands and teeth These are a mix of selfbought books and ones that I bought with birthday gift vouchers ( and I still have some left ): Kelley Armstrong > Schattenstunde (The Summoning) Maggie Stiefvater > Forever Sara Grant > Neva (Dark Parties) Jenny-Mai Nuyen > Rabenmond Jenny-Mai Nuyen > Feenlicht Patricia Briggs > Cry Wolf Patricia Briggs > Hunting Ground
  8. I voted for Misery which is such an amazing book. Can't vote for anything else, as I hated the other Stephen King books that I've read (Shining, Carrie, Green Mile)

    Hi There

Hey Zippy, to the forum. I'm also a big fan of paranormal fantasy books and I'm sure you're going to get lots of good recommendations in this forum.

    Hello!

    to the forum Lucy
  19. to the forum Imma, you're gonna find lots of recommendations for good fantasy books here.
  20. The Harper books are nothing like the Sookie books, so if they expected something alike there could have been disappointment, I can understand that. So read the Harper books without Sookie in mind
  21. I've started The book of Ember this morning.
  22. You definately need to read the other two books, they're really great. The second book is the best though, it sets free quite a few emotions.
  23. I would second the recommendation to read the Harper Connelly series
  24. I made a huge dent in my Harry Potter 4 yesterday evening, I'm past page 500 now.
