  2. I couldn't resist and baught a new book: Matched by Ally Condie
  3. I prefer silence, but I'm ok with reading on the train (if talking people get too annoying, I just turm my mp3 player on). Both indoors and outdoors, it depends on the weather and where I am and such. I read all through out the day, in the morning on my way to work, on my way back to work, in bed, during the day at the weekend. I like to sit down with a piece of cake and a nice drink at starbucks, I do this sometimes as a treat and sit there for hours and hours. But normaly I don't feast while reading, too much reading time spent on the train.
  4. I'm done with The Gates (it's so stupid that they won't make a second season ) and started with Lost Girl
  5. That makes me want to get my colouring pencils out ... Very nice pickle, you're soooooo talented!
  6. to the forum Deanna
  7. Thanks for the YAY and don't worry, your mojo will be coming back! I myself really don't know how I've managed to read that much last month and I just hope that my mojo stays this way ( no jinxing please ) Your reading-list ist just plain intimidating I have no idea how you manage to read that amount of books. Quite awesome! I'm sure there are some books that would interest me too, but I don't have a kindle and I'm not planning to get one in the soon future. I'm not convinced yet. Especially as amazon germany is quite more expensive with the kindle itself and with the ebooks.
  8. Ella Minnow Pea sounds quite funny, I will look out for it.
  9. Hello and to the forum Try the Hunger Games trilogy, they're really awesome!
  10. This one sounds interesting, I will put it on my want-to-read-list.
  11. I started Breathers by S.G. Browne yesterday
  12. I've read 9 books in July (as yu can see on the fisrt page), give me a YAY for a very good mojo
  13. I'd say most of my reading is YA, with an ocasional thriller inbetween

  15. I do hope so
  16. Ain't it great?! I found this one to be more emotional aswell, I've read it on the train and could barely keep myself from crying
  17. That sounds promising, maybe I should bump it up on my priority list
  18. Finished Harry Potter 4 and will finish The forest of hands and teeth tonight.
  19. I would second this recommendation I've only read the first book so far but I loved it!
  20. My bf's mom's birthday was on saturday and I braught a selfmade so called "Donauwelle" cake. That's normal cake dough, then chocolate cake dough, then a layer of cherries and after baking buttercream on top and to finisch a layer of chocolate. I#m so glad everybody loved it and bf's brother even asked me if I would do this professionally (I'm a library assistant though)
  21. Or try something different > anything by Kai Meyer He's my favourite german author and a few of his YA books have benn translated in english. Have a look here at the Flowing Queen trilogy and the Wave Runners trilogy. The first book of another trilogy will be out in english aswell: Arcadia awakens
  22. Still reading Harry Potter 4 at home and The forest of hands and teeth on my way to work and back. I'm pretty sure that I will finish the Potter book tonight, as there are only about 30 pages left. Can't wait to start book 5 The forest of hands and teeth is very good so far and I'm very curious how it's going to continue (I'm half way through).
  23. I have this on my TBR pile, will be interesting to see what you think of it (oh my, that sentence sounds really wrong, grammar wise)
  24. Try A Touch of Dead, it's a collection of all the Sookie short stories that were published in various anthologies. I still have it on my TBR pile, as I want to read it when re-reading the whole series, so I can't tell you anything more about it.
