  1. Same here, got to be crunchy tho. Also Branston pickle straight from the jar, pickled beetroot, cold baked beans from the tin, cold rice pudding from the tin and Grease the movie. Oh and Girls Aloud.
  2. Welcome, I also like crime and thrillers with a bit of contemporary thrown in when I need a change.
  3. James Martin and Jamie Oliver for watching (cant think why). For reliability its Delia, but like someone else said I dont like watching her but her books are excellent. Especially cakes and baking, I have her Delia Collection - baking and everything I've tried has been lovely, also like the way its illustrated, I like to see how something should look when its made, cant do with cookery books with no pictures.
  4. Hi and welcome. Dont know how I got the red face symbol at the top but cant get it off. Just ignore it!
  5. Hi and welcome from another newbie.
  6. I've just started Drop Shot which is a Myron Bolitar one, I've read several of these and really like them, I have read some of his other books aswell and thay have been really good but prefer the Bolitar ones, aswell as beng a good crime novel I think he is very witty.
  7. I loved this book, think it was my favourite read of the summer (what summer?) , not always keen on R&J reads but enjoyed this one. Had a bit of a crush on Lewis
  8. Hi, welcome from another newbie.
  9. Hi bev, welcome, I'm a newbie too.
  10. Hi, welcome, I'm a newbie too.
  11. Very unsatisfactory ending after waiting 3 weeks. How does the girlfriend saying I'm sorry, I'm sorry prove it was her, it could have been one of the other scenarios that was the real conclusion, why show them? She really had least reason of all and what did she do with the baby while she was there, did she take it with her? I hate loose ends.
  12. I've read Fox Evil and The Breaker and really enjoyed them. I keep meaning to get some more of hers. So many books - so little time .
  13. Another vote for Stephanie Plum, I like the whole family they're so funny. Also like Ruth Rendells Wexford and number one is Rebus, havent read the final one yet.
  14. I love the giggling babies one aswell. I also liked the Skoda one when it first came out, the one where they make a car out of cake but it was on so often I ended up hating it. I used to like the John Smiths adverts with Peter Kay and now like the one where the barman phones the customer and shouts "you're barred".
  15. Aw what a lovely welcome, thank you everybody.
  16. Hi I live at the seaside in Yorkshire. Have 2 grown up children and a one year old grandson. Love reading, usually crime/thrillers with some chick lit thrown in when I need a change. Looking forward to chatting on here.
