Hasn't Radcliffe also written A Sicilian Romance? I wonder it that one was mentioned in Northanger Abbey? It was at least mentioned by our professor in uni when he was talking about Northanger Abbey and the kind of gothic books that are mentioned in the novel. Has anyone read that one?

Another suggestion for you guys: I borrowed Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay from the library because I've heard so many great things about it and because it's on the Rory List. Kylie then mentioned that the book's been on her TBR for quite some time and she might want to join in on the reading. So I was wondering if any of you others would be interested in reading this one for the challenge? The book has 636 pages in my edition so it's not that short though =/ If you others aren't interested in the book I could still read something else with you and read this alongside by myself or with Kylie if she's still up for it

All in all great Olympics for Finland, bronze medals for women and men Hurray! It'll be interesting to see which team wins gold tonight, Canada or USA. I'd kinda like to see Canada beat US because US beat us, but on the other hand I'm sick and tired of Canada winning every year so I'd like to see US win. Tricky But in the end I'm thinkin I'll be rooting for US! Go Pavelski!

I’m so happy that you’re enjoying The Eyre Affair I hope you enjoy Animal Farm as well, it’s a quick and easy read but also enjoyable. I haven’t had much time to read lately, have been rather sociable these last couple of days. I hope I get some reading done over the weekend though.

Cool Kate that you found the thread I didn't have anything particular in mind though. The ones that we all agreed on previously and which are on my TBR are The God of Small Things, Rebecca, Rosemary's Baby and Wuthering Heights (correct me if I've got it wrong). From those I'd prefer Rosemary's Baby or Wuthering Heights, but I'm totally up for other suggestions
