  1. Phew... well put you feet up with a good book then! What have you got your nose in at the moment?

  2. Exams??! Bummer

Good luck I'm sure you'll do great

  3. Yes but was it just Dean still imagining things? Or was it really there?
  4. Hubby's gone t'pub... probably crying into his beer....
  5. Hey Bronwen, hope you're doing ok today

  6. Yes but will my ageing laptop cope....alas probably not:roll:
  7. yay! is this a spoiler that they don't all die though?
  8. Genius - you should be on the script writing team
  9. Bummer - clashed with new Heroes / 24 / Eli Stone (only so much TV I can fit in on one night!) And they don't seem to be repeating it on any of the ITV channels, although they seem to be able to rerun so much rubbish....grizzle
  10. Cool episode - what a git Owen was, I'm glad he went mental (but what did Annie say to him????) Am a bit worried that as he wound up at the nick Herrick might recruit him.....
  11. Yes it definately needed a recap... my memory just isn't that good anymore... where was I? Very exciting ending, and isn't it funny that Nathan's totally gone to the dark side? What do you think Sylar's dad is going to be like???
  12. Ray Parker Jr "I ain't afraid of no goats" - genius! (Think its for 118... funny that we lose sight of what they're selling sometimes)
  13. Having difficulty seeing how some of these films will work with "original cast" as in several of them major characters die???? Also, even though they involve franchises I loved, if Indy & the Crystal Skulls is anything to go by, churning out too many sequels is not a good thing....
  14. Agreed - brilliant episode! How about when Dean screamed like a little girl? But what was with Sam's eyes at the end????
  15. Possibly The Quincunx by Charles Palliser - 1248 pages
  16. I used to write them all over my folders when I was a student (English Lit of course!)... I like the idea of the journal
  17. The Pilo Family Circus - some really nasty /just plain weird stuff in there, but still riveting, it stays with you long after.... if you didn't have coulrophobia before, you will afterwards. And agree with Louiseog about The Treatment
  18. I'm reading The Master & Margarita - very Russian! It's quite tough going as recently i have been indulging my Twilight cravings... hardly challenging literature! Apparently the inspiration for The Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil, so worth sticking with! What's your assignment?

  19. Hi there

    How's the studying going?

  20. Hey Ben

Just read your review and I'm definately going to have to get this!

Hope you're having a good day

  21. I thought this was a sweet little gem - so funny - but like Janet I was left a little unsatisfied... maybe because it was so short? I read it for a reading group and we didn't really discuss it for very long, other than the idea that reading changes the reader.
  22. Hey Charm, how's it going?

I'm sad the sun isn't shining today as we had a beautiful day at the Hundred Acre Wood with the littl'uns yesterday

  23. I loved Tell No One, and have since read a lot of other Coben books, most recently The Innocent, and whilst a page turner it just seemed to be a bit samey - man in trouble, beautiful wife, can't trust anyone....
  24. Hi there - cute new avatar! How are you liking The Book Thief? I thought it was beautiful.
