  2. I've got the paperback Twilight & New Moon. Eclipse & Breaking Dawn are hardback I think. Can't actually remember and I'm not at home too check!
  3. I think you need to change your 'Reading:' section on your details too something like ': Never stops.' Some good reviews, glad your getting through some enjoyable books.
  4. I've got the paper-back for Inkheart and Inkspell.
  5. Great review Charm! Seems like you're reading some good books so far this year.
  6. Okay I resolve to go at some point in my life.

    Helloooooo!

Welcome to the forum Fi, sounds like you've found the right place.
  8. Ahh, just remembered to mention something. I started The Savage Garden yesterday, deciding to read it alongside The Clockwork Orange, so then If I'm getting frustrated with A Clockwork Orange then I can dip back into The Savage Garden. Problem is.. I really really love The Savage Garden! I only starting reading it expecting to not finish much because I didn't have a lot of time, but I ended up reading 100 pages! It's very descriptive, interesting, and I can't wait to see where it develops. Has anyone read it and would they recommend or is it going to fail from here?
  9. Yes, it was fantastic and I'll be keeping an eye out for the Cars-Harry partnership again I should think. I'm enjoying them so far thank you. And thanks for the recommendation! Thank you. I've only read 20 pages or so because of time, but I'll be making serious in-roads soon, considering it's not a very long book. Glad you said I was old enough to handle it, was having some doubts after Dimitra's comment. Thanks Roxi! Means a lot again to be considered mature enough. The language frustrated me at first, but I think a lot of the words are easy to work out what they mean. Shame you got annoyed with it, I could imagine why.
  10. I think if I manage to pull myself away from this place I'll start imporving my total so far.

Aha, I'm happy with my guesses. Only got one person wrong.. Looking like a good semi-final between Roddick and Murray. Hopefully Murray takes it, but I think Roddick's fast-serving skills well help him put up a fight. Federer will breeze through his semi-final against Haas in my opinion.

Haha Inver you were right, Haas managed to beat Djokovic; in the end he was much too strong. I think I was probably being hopeful in wanting Djokovic to win, because Haas has had a strong tournament. Congratulations our Andy on a superb performance out there today; he was fantastic with the straight set victory, 7-5, 6-3, 6-2. The kind of dominating and self-assuring performance after his long 5-setter in the previous round. Assuring people he's back in the race now. Although saying that, Federer looked at apparent ease this afternoon, also winning three sets. Roddick and Hewitt having a good game now! Common Roddick! Wimbledon epic this year.
  13. Hmm, -wonders where it is quickest to aquire the book-.
  14. Anyone else think these seems like a bit of an interview?! Not saying it's a bad thing, it's brilliant.
  15. Maybe so, but I've read books with mature content before, so why not now? I think I'll be okay with it..

Roddick or Hewitt will play Murray or Ferrero & Djokovic or Haas will play Federer or Karlovic. Let's see how many I get right from my predicted winners.

Federer, Murray, Djokovic & Roddick to go through to the semi-finals today - just my guesses!
  21. You been to see someone about this?
  22. What is everyone's favourite novel in the series? Mine are in the following order: Breaking Dawn. Twilight. Eclipse. New Moon.
  23. Argh, I need to buy it..
  24. Started reading A Clockwork Orange lastnight. I originally struggled with the reading, as some of the words are complicated. I think I'll get used to it though as I started getting into it about 20 pages in.
  25. Good thread! I've read 36 this year, which is quite good. I didn't make any targets or anything because this is the first year that I've even had a reading list. 36 so far is brilliant because now the busy part of the year is behind me and I have the whole holidays to READ READ READ. I have found more diversity in my reading this year, but that's only tragically because my Auntie passed away and left loads of books that I aquired. I haven't bought that many, but still enough to keep the TBR Pile - First time I've had one (historic moment), down. As to spending too much time on BCF, I'm not ashamed to say that's a resounding 'yes'. I spend too much time browsing threads and replying to posts, when I suppose I could be reading more! However, Kylie is right on both accounts, I don't think I'll do anything about it. In the next 6months I aim to double my total of books read, probably more. I don't think 100 is a bad aim considering I've read 36 already, and the holiday is now upon me!
