Any friends or family want them? I would hate to think of books being thrown in the tip or on the bonfire
-
I loved this book, it was completely different to anything I have read before. It was a sad (predictable) ending but for me thats why it has stuck in my mind so much. I'll be looking out for his other books too.
-
I enjoyed it too, I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting
-
I haven't been reading as much as usual, I have a really bad infection in my mouth and so have been put on 2 different anti-biotics on a high dose
I'm back on track though and I read Ben Elton's Popcorn which I enjoyed
-
I've got 7, 1 was an OK read but the others are rubbish.
-
I don't sell or swap books, I have lent one to a member on here but have never lent one from anyone, but me and my mum do read each others sometimes. I buy 60% of my books second hand and 40% new.
I keep all my books and will be buying my 3rd books case this week

I picked up 'motor mouth' a while ago by mistake and then I picked up 'metro girl' as another mistake but what great mistakes they were
-
the best book i think was death comes as the end...it was quite chilling and the murderer was someone so unexpected.
That was the first one I read I enjoyed some others more, but its definatly not the worst one
-
'Hard Eight- Janet Evanovich' This book was the first I have read in the Plum series and I enjoyed it, will definatly read the others.
'Boy In Striped PJ's- John Boyle' The reading circle book for this month, it made me cry lol was better than I expected.
'
The Abortionist's Daughter- Elizabeth Hyde' I'm not sure what to think about this book it was an ok read but a bit too quick and easy going not to mention obvious, it was worth reading though
Now to tackle some of the chunky ones
I'm still listening to 'Secrert Garden' and 'Black Beauty'

Well I think that Bex was just awful last night. What a nasty person she is.
I hope Jen goes on Friday.
I agree with both things you said. Bex is becoming more wicked each day. I know alot of people who like Luke but I don't like him hes to two faced!!!! Can't believe his and Mario's conversation

A few months ago I would only read chic lit (sad I know) I wanted to try other genres but I didn't know where to start or what to pick up, that was my main reason for joining this forum!! Since then I've read Jodi Picoult, Agatha Christie, Chronicles of Narnia, Ben Elton, Neil Gaiman and many more new authors/genres!! Now I don't find Chic lit to be as good as I thought. Although I will always love and read Carole Matthews and Chris Manby
Im glad I have found new authors and genres though, I didn't realise how much I was missing

Well I guess the publishing order would make sense?
I'm reading them in the chronological order and it makes sense that way too
-
Eeek! Hasn't that dreadful girl Chanelle released a single too?
It was released on my Birthday 12th May, didn't get into the top 40 though! It wasn't as bad it could have been.
-
My most sentimental book is: Carole Matthews 'With or Without You' its not my most favourite book but its the first book I got (out of school) which got me into reading
-
What order will you listen to them in?
-
Your getting through them quick!!!
What are you reading/listening to now?
-
That makes more sense My favourite 2 are 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' and 'Prince Caspian'
-
I thought it was weird what it says in The Magicians Nephew, I think I would have rather read them in the publishing order, even though my way makes sense it doesnt quite fit, hard to explain lol
So whats the publishing order? and where are you upto?
-
But alot were by Agatha Christie and they are short and an Enid Blyton one which was also short and obviously 'chronicles of narnia' dont take long.
Next month I'm tackling some of the chunky reads which have been waiting a while
-
This is turning out to be a very good month for me I've read 21 books so far (although some are short) and I'm half way through listening to 'Secret Garden'
I've loved so many books this month, especially Agatha christie's, C.S Lewis, Janet Evanovich and Jodi Picoult
-
I've only ever read The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe
Thats my favourite so far, my least favourite is 'The Magicians Nephew'
-
I cant wait to get to Prince caspian I'm on the third one at at minute 'The Horse and his Boy'
-
I'm so shocked about Mikey I think its awful what he was saying
-
