  1. I love The Beatles! I saw Paul McCartney live years ago it was amazing. He sang alot of Beatles songs and some of his own and Wings hits. Have you seen The Beatles movies? They are hilarious! Oh and I saw a clip of Ringo performing I Wanna be Your Man live with The Beatles on youtube, just brilliant, he was so into it. I dont have much merchandise, some posters and stickers thats about it. A yellow submarine mug sounds like something I need to have though
  2. I love Mamma Mia too. I watched An American Werewolf in London, I liked it but it was pretty rubbish.
  3. I ve been listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers greatest hits. I saw a BBC 3 (I think) show about them a while ago and I now love them!

  8. I cant believe how awful she is! Maybe thats why she insisted on the cameo in Twilight she's paranoid the spotlight will be off her for a second. I m reading Breaking Dawn at the mo, love love love it! What did you think of the first film?
  9. I love reading in bed, especially if its rainy or stormy outside and its a thriller or something. Also I ve grown to like reading on the train for some reason, probably necessity.
  10. I'd had more than my fair share of near-death experiences; it wasn't something you ever really got used to. Breaking Dawn, Stephenie Meyer.
  11. Sorry still dont know how to bring the quotes into my replies! Ulysses is a master piece but at the same time I think it is unreadable without understanding something about the politics behind it and the stuff Joyce was trying to push the boundaries on. I certainly would never have understood it otherwise! Also, Joyce's opinions on women were derogatory in many ways. Has anyone read Patricia Scanlan "City Girl" or "City Woman"? (Cant distinguish between them. Awful, awful books. Pamela, maybe its literary history doesnt mean I have to like it! The Da Vinci code had such potential but I found it to be all over the place and terribly written to boot. I kept waiting for it to improve, but to no avail. Theres more awful books I m sure but I ve tried to erase them from my memory!
