I have struggled with "A Traitor to Memory" - Elizabeth George and have managed to get three quarters of the way through (with difficulty). I was reading this on recommendation of OH who said it was a great book she couldn't put down. I have put it down couldn't take anymore.
Not a great fan of ballet myself but I took the OH to see Romeo & Juliet as a surprise and must confess I enjoyed it. Costumes were fantastic and so is the music.
Alex Cross a James Patterson creation I would say is my favourite but I do wonder whether this is because how he has been portrayed in the films starring Morgan Freeman.
Kell I too like J M Jarre and Mike Oldfield my OH is prepared to listen to the former but not keen on Oldfield except his "Tubular Bells". I also listen to classical one of my favourite composers being Edward Elgar.
When I have encountered this problem in the past I have taken a photo of my cover and then uploaded that. A little bit of hassle but at least it keeps the record straight LOL
When I was younger I suffered terribly with hay fever it really made my summers miserable. As I got older it seemed to ease quite a lot but this year it has returned slightly.
Supergran the man you are referring to is Henry Allingham and he was 111 in June of this year. He was a mechanic for the Royal Flying Corp which was the predecessor of the RAF and he served on the Somme and at Ypres.
