Hello Charm I agree with you the size of the boo never puts me off reading it but I do get disappointed if there is not a lot going on in the story but that rarely happens thank goodness. Hello Janet I think I must be like you in a way I have read smaller books and enjoyed them but I sub-consciously go to the thicker books. I also have a number of books that just fail to make the 500 pages so I must have a thing for chunkey books.

I've read the book and see the film too and the book id far better and I totally agree with you about the ending. When I read the end of the book I ctried but the end of the film left me wondering if the had read the book at all.

I am also a Jeffery Deaver fan got a book called 'The Sleeping Doll' I bought because of the title and the front cover it was my first ever Jeffery Deaver and I got the book just before Christmas. This was my first book to read for January. Since then I've bought... Twisted, A Maidens Grave, The Empty Chair and The Blue Nowhere.
