  12. I quite like these - except his last book - but the others I think dealt very well with the father/son relationship I would add to the list Atonement! I could not get into this book at all what was all the fuss about sorry but cant stand the Harry Potter books - again cant see what all the fuss is about?! Lucky Jim - have tried to read this a few times - too boring!

  19. I read a really good book set in the 60s -cant remember the name but the story invloved a young hippy settin up a clothes shop in Carnaby Street - i was of course too young to appreciate the 60s but have always been interested in that era:tong:
  20. I never work it out Love the Agatha Christie ones and I think the aim is to get you thinking it is anyone of them= they all could have done it - usually I find it impossible to work it out - but thats the fun in being surprised at the end
