  6. My favourite has to be Margaret Rutherford's autobiography - Blyth Spirit - just loved her as Miss Marple and she had a fasinating life. I have tried to get hold of a copy recently but alas it is out of print.
  7. Hello there and welcome. My suggestion would be The Boy in The Stripped Pyjamas - you will be able to read it in a couple of hours - very easy to get into and has a historical element to it. I was like you a while back - I would start books and never finish them it used to drive my husband mad he could never understand it! but I havent done that in a while , I do still tend to prefer shorter books and anything too long my interest tends to wane - the last long book i read i also managed to read 2 shorter ones in between and went back to the original book !
  8. ...and she always comes up with quick fix scemes that earn her loads of money which pays off the debt she has run up .....ahh if only real life was like that! This one brought back happy memories of fighting the crowds at the NEC Baby show.

  10. I enjoy her books - I havent read "REmember me" is it one of the shopaholic ones? - have you also read the other books she writes under her other name - my mind is blank at the moment cant remember the names but they are all good reads too:D

  17. In defence of the band - it cant be easy trying to preform such a wide range of totally different music styles! I dont think I'll be buying the album though:lol: Aww John was hilarious with all that marching - Mark's torso sorry real turn off he's too thin! No dont think Tess is anerexic just yet ,not thin enough to be.

  19. It is a long read and I must confess I read 2 other books during the middle of it ( Boy in Stipped Pyjamas being one ) but I did find I could easily go back to it and pick up from where I left off - overall I did enjoy it.
  20. Ok, I confess I fold the pages down at the corner! I'm not proud of it but I cant seem to stop esp when I always without fail lose any bookmarks ever given to me!
